XM1014 | Scumbria (Battle-Scarred)
The XM1014 | Scumbria (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with an industrial metallic gray finish, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the understated design, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
Scumbria keeps things muted: a subtle industrial gray laid down with metallic paints, letting sheen and texture carry the look instead of graphics. Designed by community artist G-99Factory, it ships with the in-game line: "Let's not be hasty: there may be another way to get Valeria's attention..."
XM1014 | Scumbria (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Scumbria uses the full float range, so Battle-Scarred reaches the extreme high end — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the body and pump, and the metallic gray dulls and thins in places. Because the finish is already dark and muted, it takes the damage more gracefully than a bright skin would, staying coherent even at its roughest.
XM1014 | Scumbria Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier and the base of the standard weapon grades. As the tier pulled most often, copies stay common and cheap even at this grade.
XM1014 | Scumbria Case and Collection
This shotgun is part of The Shadow Collection and drops from the Shadow Case, released back in September 2015. The Mil-Spec tier unboxes about 79.92% of the time as a group (the rate is shared among the tier's skins), leaving no shortage of copies on the market.
XM1014 | Scumbria Patterns
The finish has no random pattern roll: the metallic gray sits identically on every copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" seed to hunt for. Wear and float are all that distinguish one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition exists as well, adding a confirmed-kill counter minted by the Shadow Case; it's a scarcer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, never gets wiped, and carries over whenever the item changes hands. A Souvenir edition was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never in one.
XM1014 | Scumbria Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the industrial design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the metallic gray shotgun for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Scumbria still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the muted gray metallic coat keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the look — the industrial finish still comes through, just weathered.
Does the dark finish hide the wear?
Partly. Scumbria uses the full float range, so Battle-Scarred does reach heavy wear, but its dark, muted gray takes scratches and paint loss more gracefully than a bright skin would. The result stays coherent and recognizable, which is part of why this grade is a sensible budget pick.
Is this the cheapest way to own the skin?
Generally, yes. Battle-Scarred sits at the bottom of the wear ladder, below Well-Worn, so it's the lowest-priced route to the standard finish. If you also want a live kill counter, the StatTrak™ version from the Shadow Case costs more at every grade because it's a rarer drop.
