XM1014 | Ziggy (Field-Tested)

XM1014 | Ziggy (Field-Tested)

The XM1014 | Ziggy (Field-Tested) is a Restricted shotgun skin with a chaotic pattern of chartreuse, purple, and silver. Field-Tested is the most common and most affordable way into the finish, with light honest wear on a design that shrugs it off.

Design

At its core the finish is a randomized clash of chartreuse, purple, and silver painted across the XM1014 — a loud, anarchic look that turns a plain shotgun into a statement piece. It started as a community submission from The Honey Badger, and it carries an on-theme in-game line: "Introduce a little anarchy."

XM1014 | Ziggy (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the shell picks up visible scratching along the edges and raised areas, but the busy multi-color pattern absorbs it well and the skin still reads bold at a glance. Landing mid-way on the 0.00–0.72 float range, this is the grade most players settle on — the balance point between looks and cost.

XM1014 | Ziggy Rarity

Restricted is the rarity tier — the purple grade, sitting in the middle of the standard weapon grades below Classified and above Mil-Spec. It's a desirable pull that doesn't demand a premium price.

XM1014 | Ziggy Case and Collection

Belonging to The Spectrum 2 Collection, this finish is unboxed from the Spectrum 2 Case that launched in September 2017. The Restricted tier as a group pulls at roughly 15.98% (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), a fairly friendly rate, though most copies now trade on the open market.

XM1014 | Ziggy Patterns

The paint seed does nothing to Ziggy's look — the "randomized" pattern is fixed into the artwork and placed the same way on every copy, so there's no blue-gem seed or "best pattern" to hunt. What separates copies is simply how much wear they carry and their float value.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ Ziggy, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter minted from the Spectrum 2 Case; it's a rarer, costlier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the shotgun through every trade without ever being wiped. A Souvenir variant doesn't exist — those come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Spectrum 2 Case was never part of a Major.

XM1014 | Ziggy Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the full color clash, which is why it's the grade most buyers reach for. It's an affordable mid-tier finish to begin with, so the entry point here is genuinely easy. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Ziggy look worn?

Only a little. Field-Tested brings visible scratching to the shell's edges, but the busy chartreuse-purple-silver pattern breaks up the wear so the skin still reads loud and chaotic in-game. It's the grade to pick if you want the design to stand out without paying for the near-mint conditions.

Is Field-Tested the best value Ziggy?

For most players, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the color clash easy to recognize, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you don't mind heavier scuffing on the shell.

Is there a StatTrak Ziggy?

Yes. A StatTrak™ XM1014 | Ziggy counts your confirmed kills on a built-in tracker. It drops more rarely than the standard finish and usually sells for more, and the tally is permanent — it moves with the shotgun through trades and sales and never gets wiped back to zero.
