Cache Map Guide

The April 2026 update finally brought Cache back into the official fold, and while the Chernobyl vibes are still there, the map has seen some serious gameplay shifts. The biggest game-changer? Mid Window is officially gone. Valve took a "back to basics" approach, ditching the controversial CS:GO addition to make Mid control feel a lot more like the classic version we loved.
Over on A-site, "New Box" is history, opening up the site for CTs, and you can now pull off a solo self-boost onto Shroud by hopping up the sign - no teammate required. On the B-site side, that annoying off-angle light above Checkers has been removed, and sadly, the iconic s1mple graffiti didn't make the cut for the Source 2 port. Visually, it’s much cleaner, with all the old-school communist iconography swapped out for a more "lore-accurate" abandoned look that actually lets you see the enemy instead of blending into the foliage.
Cache A Site Callouts

Here is a breakdown of every essential A Site callout you need to master to keep your executes clean and your retakes successful.
A-Site: The primary bomb plant area.
Default A: The standard plant position on the site.
Quad: The corner area tucked behind the site boxes.
NBK: The corner opposite to Quad, near Squeaky.
Squeaky: The blue door and the room leading into the site.
Shroud: The elevated boost position overlooking the site.
Forklift: The vehicle and crates located between the site and A Main.
Balcony: The platform situated just above A Main.
A Main: The primary entrance for Ts coming from Garage.
A Long: The external path leading toward the A Site from the T side.
Cache B Site Callouts

Whether you’re dealing with a full T-rush through B Main or trying to pick off a CT tucked away at Headshot, you need to be vocal. One missed call here usually means a lost round.
B-Site: The designated bomb plant zone.
Headshot: The specific defensive box/angle on the site where only a player's head is visible.
Heaven: The elevated platform overlooking the site from the CT side.
B Main: The main corridor for Terrorists entering the site.
Toxic: The corner area just outside the B-Site entrance, often used for lurking or utility.
B Halls: The long hallway leading from the T-side toward B Main and Toxic.
Tree: The corner area near the entrance to B, connecting toward CT Halls.
Vents: The crawlspace connecting Mid directly to the entrance of B Main.
Cache Mid

Whether you're fighting to break into Vents or trying to pick someone off from Boost, controlling this space gives your team the freedom to rotate anywhere. If Mid falls, the rest of the map becomes a nightmare to defend.
Mid: The wide-open central courtyard where most of the action happens.
Garage: The large building that serves as the main T-side entrance to Mid.
Boost: The crates near A-Main where players can stack for a high-ground advantage.
Sandbag: The cover spot tucked in the middle of the courtyard, perfect for close-range ambushes.
Vents: The breakable pathway that links Mid directly to the B-site area.
Highway: The long, elevated ramp connecting Mid to the A-site.
Connector: The transition room between Mid and the CT-side halls.
Ebox: The electrical box and corner area located at the top of Highway.
T Truck: The truck located just outside Garage on the T-side of the map.
Other Cache Callouts
Not every high-stakes moment happens right on the bomb site. A huge part of the "macro" game on Cache comes down to how fast you move through the veins of the map. Here are the remaining essential callouts:
T-Spawn: The starting area for the Terrorist team.
CT-Spawn: The starting area for the Counter-Terrorist team.
CT Halls: The long internal corridor connecting CT-Spawn toward the B-site and Tree area.
Truck: The vehicle located on the path between CT-Spawn and the A-site (not to be confused with T Truck near Garage).
