Out of all the wide variety of the knives currently available in Counter-Strike 2, the Talon Knife always stood out thanks to its immaculate visuals and unique inspect and pull-out animations. The design of the knife is heavily inspired by the legendary Karambit, having borrowed the ivory white handle of the Damascus Knives Shop Karambit knife along with the blade of the KIASLORE Tiger Claw knives. Many players consider Talon to be something unattainable, considering that more players know about the ultra-expensive Talon Doppler and the Tiger Tooth Talon. However, there’s a plethora of affordable Talon knives that will cost you less than $400 for this prestigious addition to your inventory. In today’s article, we’ll go through the cheapest Talon knives CS2 has to offer.

TOP 5 Best and Cheapest Talon Knife Skins in CS2 That Looks Nice

Here are the cheapest Talon Knife CSGO / CS2 knife skins that won’t make a huge dent in your wallet:

1. Talon Knife | Safari Mesh

Price starting from: $330.10

The Safari Mesh is known as the entry point to any non-Vanilla knife skin, and the Talon Safari Mesh is no exception. The design is pretty simple, consisting of a desert brown coat with a spray-painted fence pattern on top. This skin is pretty underwhelming, but considering the price and the cool factor of the Talon Knife, it can be a decent addition to your inventory.

We would suggest avoiding the Battle-Scarred version and instead getting a Well-Worn version of this knife, as it is only a few dollars more expensive, but looks significantly better with much less scratches and imperfections.

2. Talon Knife | Boreal Forest / Forest DDPAT

Price starting from: $331.65

We’ve decided to put both Talons with camo patterns in one spot considering how little differences there are and how similarly priced these knives are. Both Boreal Forest and Forest DDPAT are some of the least expensive knife patterns currently present in CS2, and with Talon Knife these are the second and third cheapest patterns one can get. Featuring a hunting camo pattern on Boreal Forest, while the Forest DDPAT boasts a pixelated camo pattern on the playside of the blade along with a light-green grip handle, which makes this skin look a bit more complicated.

As with Safari Mesh, we would suggest avoiding the Battle-Scarred versions of these knives, as by paying just a few dollars more, you guarantee yourself a pristine military knife with a few scratches and imperfections.

3. Talon Knife | Scorched

Price starting from: $349.25

The Scorched Talon Knife is a skin on the darker side compared to the previous entries in our list. It features a spray-painted pattern of various shades of dark grey and black on top of the beige base, giving it a smokey/burnt vibe. Released as part of A New Horizon update back in 2018, this knife skin might look a bit underwhelming in this day and age, but nevertheless it is decently represented in the CS2 community thanks to its affordable price.

With the Scorched Talon, we would suggest getting at least a Well-Worn version, as the Battle-Scarred quality preserves barely any resemblance of the original skin due to the overpowering amount of scratches and chipped paint. If you add $10 on top of the lowest price of the Battle-Scarred Scorched Talon, you can get a Field-Tested variant with much more vibrant color palette and darker shades.

4. Talon Knife | Urban Masked

Price starting from: $350.24

In our opinion, the Urban Masked Talon is where the fun starts. It is distinctive enough to be considered one of the best and cheapest Talon Knife CS2 has to offer. Its grey spray-painted stencil work pattern features a two-tone grey color palette. It has this realistic look that would fit well in conditions of urban warfare, hence the “Urban Masked” moniker. However, the Battle-Scarred Urban Masked Talon looks a bit underwhelming, so you might even want to look in the direction of a vanilla Talon for the asked price. Otherwise, all Urban Masked patterns look decent starting from Field-Tested quality if you were to consider one.

5. Talon Knife | Night Stripe

Price starting from: $359.53

Battle-ScarredField-Tested

The Night Stripe Talon is a unique knife with qualities that you can’t really get at this price point with anything else currently available sparse graphic elements that almost look like a MIL-TECH night time camouflage. The tactical pattern stands out from the knives in this price range, making it a solid investment even with the Battle-Scarred versions that cost approximately the same as the cheaper options in our list. If you add about $30-40, you might get a Field-Tested quality Talon with a cleaner look and less chipped paint throughout the length of the blade and the grip.

Honorable Mention: Talon Knife | Ultraviolet

Price starting from: $426.11

We couldn’t but mention the Ultraviolet Talon Knife, one of the coolest knives you can get for less than $500. Its simple yet unique two-tone colorway will complement pretty much any pair of red, black or purple gloves thanks to its blacked-out blade and violet grip handle. While this knife skin is considerably more expensive, it’s still pretty attainable, considering that you can grab one in Well-Worn quality for just over $470. At that price, the Ultraviolet looks way more expensive than it actually is and gives its owner confidence and a status symbol as far as CS2 knives go.
