There are many thematic skin collections in CS:GO and CS2 centered around a specific topic, including the Anubis Collection and the legendary Dreams & Nightmares drop. Earlier in 2025, Valve introduced a collection dedicated to the forests in North America, Scandinavia and Taiga. The Boreal Collection stands out from the other drops with its pastel green color scheme and a plethora of skins with various camouflage patterns. If you’re a fan of jungle warfare and all things forest-related, then you might want to consider acquiring a couple of skins from this very floral and camo-inspired collection. In today’s article, we’ll provide all the information about the eye-catching Boreal Collection CS2.

CS2 Boreal Collection Release Date

The CS2 Boreal Collection was added to Counter-Strike 2 on March 31st, 2025, within the Spring Forward update. The skins from this collection are obtainable through the weekly drop or by acquiring them at marketplaces like Skin.Land. The release of the Boreal Collection in CS2 was accompanied by the release of the Ascent and Radiant collections, with the latter collections being centered around the purple and orange color schemes. As we have mentioned above, these skins are obtainable through weekly drops or they can also be bought via third-party marketplaces, as the collection is not present in any weapon case. More on the assortment of the skins in the CS Boreal Collection below.

All CS2 Skins From The Boreal Collection

The Boreal Collection features 29 weapon skins from almost all rarity grades, aside from Covert (Red) and Extraordinary (Gold). The collection consists mostly of Mil-Spec, Consumer and Industrial Grade skins, aside from two Restricted and one Classified skin. Overall, the Boreal Collection is a decent package meant to provide players with a free weekly skin drop, with a rare chance of getting a Classified AWP skin. The designs are heavily inspired by the natural themes, with emphasis on the aesthetics of forests of North America, Scandinavia and Tundra. Also, the fans of military style will be pleased with the sheer amount of camouflage patterns present in this collection. Below, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of all skins categorized by weapon type, including their approximate price range and rarity.

What is The Best Skin From The Boreal Collection?

While it is entirely subjective to judge skins based on their visual appearance, it is safe to say that the most desirable skin out of the bunch is definitely the AWP | Green Energy. The sole item of Classified rarity, this AWP skin stands out from the collection thanks to its bright neon-green color scheme and, obviously, the fact that it is an AWP skin.

How to Get Boreal Collection CS2 Skins?

All skins from The Boreal Collection can be obtained either by playing the game and getting a random skin through the in-game weekly drop, or by directly purchasing the skin you like. However, the weekly free drop is available only for players with Prime Status. If you want to get a particular skin from the CS2 Boreal Collection, then head over to Skin.Land and buy any skin you like. We must also point out that unfortunately there are no Boreal Collection CS2 case, as the collection was specifically introduced for the weekly drop system, introduced with the release of Counter-Strike 2.
