Only God knows what’s inside the minds of CS players who explore and find these kinds of bugs and ‘features’, yet here we are again. All the shooting and running and defusing sometimes gets in a way of finding creative outlets to nag your teammates. In terms of infuriating teammates and opponents, Counter-Strike has always been among the best multiplayer games, with all its teabagging glory. This time around, we have a twerking mechanic on the menu, meaning that your agent model can awkwardly replicate those scorching hot moves you’ve seen on the Internet. Thanks to the advancements of the Source 2 engine, you can do just that. In this article, we’ll explain how to twerk in CS2 in 2024.

Can You Twerk in CS2?

Yes, you can. Initially, there was a simpler way of doing so, but now you have to be more inventive and skillful to shake that bootaay. It is pretty simple and may serve as a fun little taunt while your enemies spectate you twerking while defusing the bomb after securing a one-man clutch.

How To Twerk in CS2?

In order to become the twerk champion on the server, you’ll have to perform the following while playing the CT side:

  • Buy a defuse kit when you’re playing for CT side

  • Crouch (Ctrl)

  • Look up using the mouse movement up

  • Look down using the mouse movement down

  • Repeat the latter two actions multiple times in a fast manner

  • Congratulations! You’ve made your parents proud.

Oh, if you would like to enjoy the view from the back, then you should start a private lobby where you could activate a ‘thirdperson’ command in the console, which will allow you to witness the poor bastard shaking his juicy pixels in a third-person view.

Did They Patch Twerking in CS2?

Valve never acknowledged the in-game ‘twerking’, but some players reported that the twerking was no longer visible.

Can You Get Banned For Twerking in CS2?

Come on, it’s Valve we’re talking about. We’re not playing Valorant to be worried about these kinds of things, as Riot Games is known for random bans for the slightest display of “unsportsmanlike conduct”. Valve does not even acknowledge this ‘feature’, so you pretty much have nothing to be worried about. On the contrary, there might even be some wacky sticker coming out with a twerking CT agent. Now shake what ya mama gave ya!
