Case Hardened Skeleton Knife

The menacing Skeleton Knife was first introduced to Counter-Strike in November 2019, as part of the “Shattered Web” update. Compared to many other knives in the game, the Skeleton’s allure lies in its minimalist design, with a finger hole in between the blade and the handle. The knife also has a plethora of unique inspect and pullout animations. The Case Hardened finish only makes the knife stand out even more, considering how great the barebones design compliments the swirling gradient. The combination of blue, gold and purple is pretty evenly widespread, but some pattern seed variations have a one dominating color. If you’re looking for the creme de la creme, then the Skeleton Knife Blue Gem seed is the absolute peak in terms of rarity, price and cool factor. More on this pattern and a few others below.

How Many Patterns Has Case Hardened Skeleton Knife - Tier List

While there are a few true Blue Gems in the Tier 1, there are also a plethora of less valuable Case Hardened Skeleton Knives with prevailing blue color covering the blade. Like any other skins with the Case Hardened finish, it features hundreds of distinct patterns determined by their seed number (ranging from 0 to 999). The skins with prevailing blues are generally considered the most desirable hue in Case Hardened skins. Though not official, there is a fan-made classification:

Tier 1 (Blue Gem): These are the absolute best and the rarest patterns, characterized by a vibrant blue color that covers the entirety of the blade.

Tier 2: These patterns feature a noticeable amount of blue, but to a lesser extent. However, some patterns in Tier 2 don’t have any visible Gold, which is a good thing for a “Blue Gem”.

Tier 3: The Tier 3 patterns have less amounts of blue, mixed with significant amounts of purple, gold, and silver.

Tier 4 (Common): These patterns have very little amounts of blue, very common.
