The Dead Hand Terminal update made waves in the CS2 community on March 11th, 2026, giving us a whole another way of acquiring skins and other cosmetic items in the game. It’s a brand new system that stems from the well-known X-Ray Scanner, allowing players to peek into what skin and float they are paying prior to transaction. This move was made due to tightening EU laws and restrictive measures against loot boxes and gambling in computer games. While it is too early to judge how the Terminal update will affect the skin market in the long term, there's great news for all of us in the form of new skins and gloves drops.

The gloves that made the most noise in the recent update are the Specialist Gloves Blackbook, and for quite a hilarious reason. See, the design of these gloves was supposed to resemble a graffiti blackbook, filled with the street artist’s tags, doodles and sketches, but one of these doodles came out bearing a strong resemblance with a male reproductive organ. In a normal world, this detail would be a hardly mentioned funny bit, but in a crazy world of Counter-Strike skin trading these gloves became the most talked about subject for a hot minute and it seems that the patterns that show that mighty doodle will be the most valuable once the gloves hit the market. Aside from that obnoxious visual, there are a few cool street-art inspired patterns that we will reveal in this guide.  Let’s break down the best and most fun Specialist Gloves Blackbook patterns you can get from Terminal.

Specialist Gloves Blackbook Pattern Tier List

Anyone with a slight interest in the CS2 skin market knows that the Specialist Gloves are one of the most desirable gloves in the game. The rugged look combined with a complex structure and a mash-up of different materials make these gloves instantly recognizable. The Blackbook patterns add to that with a variety of monochrome street-art inspired doodles and tags. However, we don’t think that these gloves would be as popular as they are right now if it wasn’t for that viral pattern.

The color scheme is monochrome, meant to resemble the inside of a graffiti sketchbook. It’s an extremely nostalgic design for those who has ever filled their Montana sketchbooks with some crooked drawings and tags. As to patterns, the design can feature a number of different art elements, such as graffiti tags, symbols, faces in masks, skulls and text. The layout is generated randomly, meaning that each pair of gloves has a different alignment of elements mentioned above.

Specialist Gloves Blackbook “Dicky Gloves” Patterns

These patterns were dubbed “dicky gloves” by the player base, and the name stems from the letter “A” closely resembling the phallic symbol.  The r/ohnePixel subreddit went ballistic with the names, coming up with the most creative and unhinged monikers we prefer not to repeat here.  Memes aside, there are multiple patterns that feature the “Aik” graffiti inscription (what it really says), having a plethora of right-hand and left-hand options, with the rarest “Double D” pattern featured on both gloves.

Double D Patterns: 30, 79, 394 (barely visible)

Right Hand Patterns: 586, 116, 44, 48, 184, 323, 393, 586, 609, 932

Left Hand Patterns: 21, 106, 311, 860, 979

Specialist Gloves Blackbook Ski Mask Patterns

These patterns feature a doodle of a bandit in a ski mask. There are lots of patterns with this guy, featured on either left or right hand. Of course, there are also patterns that combine the ski mask guy and the infamous D inscription. We expect these patterns to be quite popular, especially those pictured with the “Aik” tag.

Right Hand Patterns: 43, 95, 93, 998

Left Hand Patterns: 12, 103

Ski Mask + D Patterns: 530, 44, 184, 210

Specialist Gloves Blackbook Pistol Patterns

The pistol patterns look very cool, especially when pictured on both gloves. These patterns feature a stencil-like drawing of a Glock pistol and they are promising to be quite popular with the player base. Per usual, there’s also a combined pattern that features both the pistol and the DihđŸ„€đŸ’”.

Double Pistol: 990, 85 (barely visible), 989,

Right Hand Patterns: 1, 8, 26, 51, 54, 59, 975, 957

Left Hand Patterns: 2, 60, 62, 90, 97, 996

Pistol + D Patterns: 491

Specialist Gloves Blackbook DED Patterns

The Specialist Gloves Blackbook features another popular category of patterns  that are decorated with the capitalized “DED” inscription. The Pattern #35 seems to be the best one, as it features the letters vertically aligned, as if they continue into the other glove.

Double DED Patterns: 14, 35, 50

Right Hand Patterns: 4

Left Hand Patterns: 2, 994

DED + D Patterns: 539, 48, 393

Specialist Gloves Blackbook Star Patterns

The star drawings are present on pretty much every second pattern, rendering them ineffective for collectors or traders. However, congrats if you manage to snag the Double Star Pattern #2. This pattern features two highly visible stars (or pentagrams, depending on what the author had in mind)  close to each other. There's also a fully visible Glock present on the left glove.

Double Star Patterns: 2

Where to Buy Specialist Gloves Blackbook?

Currently, you have to use the Terminal in order to have a chance to unlock these gloves. The way the Terminal works is entirely different from a standard case unboxing. It presents you with a random item from the recent Dead Hand Collection and you can choose to proceed with the purchase of presented skin or gloves, or discard. However, this restriction will only last for a couple of weeks before the entire collection ends up on the Steam market or any third-party market like Skin.Land.

Once the Specialist Gloves Blackbook appear on the market, you can guarantee yourself these gloves without having to use Terminal. The Blackbook is one of the most fun and entertaining glove drops in recent years. We're stoked to see how its appearance on the skin market plays out. The meme factor alone put Blackbook in the stratosphere, and the fact that these gloves and many other gloves from the Dead Hand Terminal will probably be somewhat cheaper than the regular ones is nothing short of amazing news for both the players and skin collectors.
