AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Battle-Scarred)

AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Battle-Scarred)

The AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin carrying a fire-serpent motif — a coiled serpent rendered in fiery orange-red over a deep forest-green body, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a grail-tier AK, trading pristine looks for the lowest entry price on an iconic finish.

Design

The design wraps the AK-47 in a fire-serpent motif: a coiled serpent over a deep forest-green base, its serpentwork rendered in fiery orange-red across the receiver and stock. It's Valve's own in-house work rather than a Workshop submission, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "If you want to survive in the streets, learn to spit fire."

AK-47 | Fire Serpent (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the finish is worn thin in places. The serpent artwork survives as the anchor that keeps the skin identifiable. This finish is capped at a float of 0.76, so it never reaches the very extreme end of the scale, and the design stays legible even at its roughest.

AK-47 | Fire Serpent Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier and the top grade of standard weapon skins, one rung up from Classified. Covert finishes are the rarest thing a case can give you, and that scarcity drives much of where the Fire Serpent lands on price.

AK-47 | Fire Serpent Case and Collection

Belonging to The Bravo Collection, this finish comes from the Operation Bravo Case, which shipped with Operation Bravo back in September 2013 — one of the oldest cases in CS2. With the Covert tier dropping only about 0.64% of the time and the Operation Bravo Case long removed from the active drop pool, supply is fixed and slowly shrinking — the market, not unboxing, is where nearly every copy comes from.

AK-47 | Fire Serpent Patterns

No random pattern variation applies to the Fire Serpent — the serpent artwork is fixed across every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to seek out. Value is set by wear plus the skin's rarity and prestige, not by a lucky pattern roll.

StatTrak & Souvenir

The skin also has a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Fire Serpent version from the Operation Bravo Case, adding a confirmed-kill counter as a rarer and pricier variant than the standard skin, its counter permanently tied to the item as it's traded or sold. No Souvenir version was ever made: Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Operation Bravo Case came from an operation, not a Major, so a Souvenir Fire Serpent never existed.

AK-47 | Fire Serpent Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level route into the finish for players who care more about owning a Fire Serpent than owning a clean one. It's still a high-end AK, since scarcity keeps even the roughest copies well above ordinary skins, but this is the most affordable way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Fire Serpent still recognizable?

Yes. Despite heavy scuffing and paint loss, the serpent artwork keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look — the finish still plainly reads as a Fire Serpent from normal viewing distance.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.76 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear possible. Combined with dense artwork that carries scratching well, the Fire Serpent stays more legible at this grade than many lighter, simpler skins do.

Is a Battle-Scarred Fire Serpent a smart way to own the skin?

It can be. It's by far the cheapest route to a genuine grail AK, and scarcity means it still holds meaningful value rather than sitting in budget territory. The trade-off is visible wear, so it suits players who want the iconic finish in their loadout without paying clean-grade prices.
