AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel (Factory New)
The AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel (Factory New) is a Covert rifle skin with a distressed, spray-stencil post-apocalyptic finish in orange and black over bare metal. Factory New is the cleanest grade this skin comes in, showing the graffiti stencils and block print at their most defined.
Design
Wasteland Rebel has been distressed, block printed, and painted with graffiti, giving it a rugged, dystopian look built from orange and black stencils layered over exposed metal. It's a community design by the artist SA_22, and it carries an in-game line that fits the survival theme: "One day they will ask why we fight, and when they do they will understand."
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel (Factory New) Float and Wear
Factory New is the top grade of the finish, with float sitting at the low end where the metal reads cleanest and the orange stencils stay bright and crisp. Because the design is already meant to look weathered, a Factory New copy keeps that intentional grime without adding real scuffing on top of it. If you want the sharpest version of the graffiti work, this is it.
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red tier, the top grade for standard weapon skins, one step above Classified. Covert is the rarest kind of skin you can pull from a case, which is a big part of why this finish carries the value it does.
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel is part of The Vanguard Collection and drops from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, released with Operation Vanguard in November 2014. The Covert tier as a whole drops about 0.64% of the time from the case, and with the Operation Vanguard Case long out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed.
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel Patterns
The AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel has no random pattern variation — the block print and graffiti stencils sit the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Wear and float are the only things that separate one Wasteland Rebel from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it comes from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case as a rarer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin's case was never part of a Major drop.
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel Price
Factory New sits at the very top of the Wasteland Rebel price ladder, since it's the cleanest grade the skin comes in — a clear step above Minimal Wear. As a Covert AK it's firmly in high-end, grail-tier territory within the AK-47 lineup. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium?
If you want the top-condition copy, yes. Factory New shows the orange stencils and block print at their most defined, with none of the extra scuffing that creeps in at lower grades. It commands the highest price in the range, so the premium is really about owning the best grade of a Covert grail rather than a night-and-day visual jump over Minimal Wear.
Does Factory New look different from lower wears on this skin?
Somewhat. The Wasteland Rebel is designed to look weathered on purpose, so the built-in grime is there at every grade. Factory New keeps the metal and stencils clearest and the colors most vivid, while heavier wears layer real scratching on top of the intended distressing.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel?
Its orange-and-black, rusted palette suits a warm, gritty loadout, so orange, brown, or black gloves fit best — an orange or tan pair echoes the stencil work, while black wraps lean into the grimy, post-apocalyptic vibe. Earthy, worn-looking gloves match the survival theme better than anything bright or clean.
