AWP | Asiimov (Well-Worn)

The AWP | Asiimov is a Covert sniper rifle skin with a futuristic white, orange, and black look, here in a Well-Worn state. It's a cheaper route into one of CS2's most iconic AWP finishes, with wear that the pale base doesn't hide.

Design

The Asiimov look is bold and futuristic: a white shell cut through with orange accents and black paneling, built to resemble sci-fi hardware more than a real-world rifle. Coridium designed it for the community, and it ships with a fitting caption: "Anyone can predict the future... a visionary shapes it."

AWP | Asiimov (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

At Well-Worn the finish shows its age openly — the white base picks up grime and scratching across the body, and paint thins along the edges where the sci-fi paneling meets bare metal. Because the design is so light-colored, wear stands out more than it would on a dark skin, so this grade looks visibly battered next to Field-Tested. The orange sections keep it recognizable, and for players who care more about price than surface, it delivers the iconic look for less.

AWP | Asiimov Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier and the top grade among standard weapon skins, sitting above Classified. Because Covert finishes are some of the rarest pulls a case offers, Asiimov earns much of its status from that scarcity.

AWP | Asiimov Case and Collection

Asiimov belongs to The Phoenix Collection and comes out of the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, which launched with the Operation Phoenix update in February 2014. As the case's Covert entry it's the rarest tier, so pulling this particular skin is a long shot — well under one percent per opening — and since the Operation Phoenix Case left the active drop pool long ago, supply is fixed. Most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed.

AWP | Asiimov Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on the Asiimov — the white, orange, and black graphic lands identically on every copy, so no paint seed or blue gem is worth chasing. Only wear and float tell one copy apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is a StatTrak™ version of the AWP | Asiimov, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent — the tally follows the weapon when it's traded or sold. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case was never a Major souvenir drop.

AWP | Asiimov Price

Well-Worn lands in the middle of the range, below Field-Tested and above Battle-Scarred — a more affordable way onto the Asiimov ladder for players who don't want to pay the top-grade premium. How worn does the Well-Worn Asiimov look?

Noticeably. The pale base makes grime and scratching stand out across the body, more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The orange and black graphic keeps it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Asiimov in-game even with the extra wear on show.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Because light-colored skins hide damage poorly. On a dark finish scuffs blend in, but Asiimov's white shell puts every scratch and smudge on display, so the same float looks rougher here than it would elsewhere. That's why the jump from Field-Tested to Well-Worn is more obvious than on darker skins.
