AWP | Exothermic (Battle-Scarred)

AWP | Exothermic (Battle-Scarred)

The AWP | Exothermic (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted sniper skin with a red-colored explosive burst pattern, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the blast design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Exothermic keeps things bold and loud: a red explosive burst spread over the rifle, a blast-in-motion graphic that goes for heat and impact rather than delicate detail. It ships with a caption that plays the theme for a grin: "Cool guys don't look at explosions."

AWP | Exothermic (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body and scope. The red burst survives as the detail that keeps the design readable, and because the graphic is so busy it still pulls the eye. Even at its roughest the blast stays identifiable, which is why this grade works for players chasing the lowest price.

AWP | Exothermic Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, ranked above Mil-Spec and just beneath Classified on the standard weapon-skin scale. It's a middle grade: less common than the case-tier blue skins, but well short of the scarcity carried by the pink and red tiers.

AWP | Exothermic Case and Collection

Released as part of The Harlequin Collection, Exothermic has no weapon case tied to it. Copies enter circulation through collection drops and trade-up contracts rather than case openings — a supply route that keeps the pool small and moves nearly all trading onto the open market.

AWP | Exothermic Patterns

Because the red burst sits the same way on every copy, Exothermic has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or blue gem to track down. Wear and float are all that set one unit apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak variant of this skin was never produced. Since StatTrak counters are built only into finishes unboxed from weapon cases, and this burst isn't one of those, there's no kill-tracking edition. The same goes for Souvenir: those weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Harlequin Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

AWP | Exothermic Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the explosive design for players who value the look over the condition. If you want the red-blast AWP for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred version still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the bright red burst keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the explosion that makes the skin what it is — the graphic still lands on the server.

What's the cheapest way to get the Exothermic look?

This grade is it. Battle-Scarred is the lowest rung on the finish's price ladder, so it's the least you can pay for a genuine copy. The red burst carries the design regardless of how battered the surface gets, which means you keep the whole visual identity while spending the minimum.

Why doesn't it look completely destroyed?

Two reasons. The finish is float-capped at 0.70 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear on the scale. On top of that, the loud red burst draws the eye away from the scuffing, leaving a skin that reads more legibly than the grade name suggests.
