G3SG1 | Stinger (Well-Worn)

The G3SG1 | Stinger (Well-Worn) is a Restricted autosniper skin in wasp-yellow with gray accents, shown here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into the bold color for players who care more about the look than the surface.

Design

Stinger keeps things loud: a bright yellow body marked by gray accents for a wasp-like, aggressive profile. It began as a community design from the artist nozza, and it carries a fitting in-game line — "A moment of pain. Then nothing."

G3SG1 | Stinger (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Within the 0.00–0.70 float range, Well-Worn sits near the top. The yellow shows clear paint loss and scuffing across the body and edges, dulling the color noticeably, though the wasp shape stays recognizable. For players hunting the design at a low price, this grade delivers it for less.

G3SG1 | Stinger Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. Sitting above Mil-Spec and below Classified, it lands in the middle of the standard weapon grades and is a genuine step up in scarcity from the common blue skins.

G3SG1 | Stinger Case and Collection

This finish sits in The Glove Collection and is unboxed from the Glove Case, which came out with the Glove Case update in November 2016. The Restricted tier overall drops at roughly 15.98% from the case (that odds figure covers the whole tier), a rate that thins out once split among the tier's finishes.

G3SG1 | Stinger Patterns

The Stinger carries no random pattern roll — the yellow-and-gray art is placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or blue-gem variant to hunt. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Stinger does exist next to the regular finish and brings a confirmed-kill counter with it; it's a scarcer, costlier drop, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through any trade or sale. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and this skin was never in one.

G3SG1 | Stinger Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the Stinger ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn Stinger look?

Noticeably. Expect visible paint loss and scuffing across the body and edges, with the bright yellow reading duller than it does at the higher grades — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The wasp shape still reads in-game, so it stays identifiable as a Stinger.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if the lowest reasonable price is your priority. Field-Tested keeps the yellow noticeably brighter for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Stinger design as cheaply as possible without dropping to Battle-Scarred.

Does wear change the yellow color on the Stinger?

Wear doesn't repaint the skin, but on a bright base it dulls the effect: at Well-Worn the scuffing and paint loss mute the vivid yellow more than the cleaner grades do. The underlying color is the same everywhere — what changes is how much surface damage sits over it.
