M249 | Midnight Palm (Well-Worn)
The M249 | Midnight Palm (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade M249 skin, its black palm fronds and gray-purple camo now carrying real wear. It's a low-cost route into the design for players who care more about the look than a spotless surface.
Design
The finish spreads black palm-frond shapes over a gray-and-purple camo body — a dim, tropical-at-night motif built on silhouette rather than vivid color. Valve created it, and it's stamped with a playful in-game note: "The sign says closed!"
M249 | Midnight Palm (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn falls near the top of the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range. Scuffing and paint thinning become clearly visible across the receiver and edges, though the dark camo still keeps the palm design legible. For players chasing the cheapest reasonable grade, this is where the Midnight Palm gets affordable without turning unreadable.
M249 | Midnight Palm Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier — a common grade sitting low on the weapon ladder, a single step above Consumer. Its everyday rarity keeps prices down across all grades of the finish.
M249 | Midnight Palm Case and Collection
Part of The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, Midnight Palm debuted with Operation Riptide in September 2021. No case unboxes it, so its supply comes from collection drops and player listings — you buy it off the market, not by cracking a case.
M249 | Midnight Palm Patterns
There's no random roll on this finish: the palm fronds and camo occupy the same position on each copy, meaning the paint seed is irrelevant and no blue-gem variant exists to hunt. Only wear and float distinguish one Midnight Palm from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak variant was ever made — StatTrak is minted through weapon cases, and this finish never appeared in one. A Souvenir Midnight Palm does exist, produced via Major-tournament souvenir packages that started with Stockholm 2021 Dust II and continued at later Majors. The copy described here is the regular finish.
M249 | Midnight Palm Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade rate. It keeps the finish firmly in affordable, mid-tier M249 territory. Available on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn Midnight Palm look?
Fairly worn. You'll see obvious scuffing and paint loss on the edges and receiver — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy damage. The dark camo and bold palm fronds keep the design recognizable, so it still reads clearly as a Midnight Palm in a match.
Is the Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if the lowest price is your priority. Field-Tested looks noticeably tidier for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does the Midnight Palm come as a Souvenir?
Yes. Souvenir copies were distributed through Major-tournament souvenir packages, first the Stockholm 2021 Dust II package and then later Majors. Alongside that, the finish exists in its regular form — the version most market listings represent — which comes from ordinary collection drops rather than a Major.
