M4A1-S | Guardian (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Guardian (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin with a cobalt-blue body and the CT logo stenciled on the magazine, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper way into the finish, with wear the blue base still carries reasonably well.
Design
Guardian keeps things minimal: the Counter-Terrorist logo stenciled across a cobalt-blue base, a defensive badge motif built on a single strong color instead of clutter. Designed by the community artist J4CK, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "I don't have to like you, I have to keep you safe - Carmen Cocinero, Extraction Expert."
M4A1-S | Guardian (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Within the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range, Well-Worn sits near the high end, just below Battle-Scarred. At this level the body shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the edges and handguard, where the blue thins out, though the stenciled CT emblem holds as the anchor detail. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, the design still comes through here for less.
M4A1-S | Guardian Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, sitting directly below Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
M4A1-S | Guardian Case and Collection
Part of The Winter Offensive Collection, Guardian drops from the Winter Offensive Weapon Case that arrived with the Winter Offensive update back in December 2013. The Classified tier as a group unboxes about 3.2% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — buyers get most copies on the market instead of from a case.
M4A1-S | Guardian Patterns
Guardian rolls no random pattern: the blue base and stenciled CT logo are placed identically on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to look for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Guardian does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a rarer, costlier drop from the Winter Offensive Weapon Case than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Guardian Price
Well-Worn sits low on the Guardian ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. Even at this level the finish stays in affordable mid-tier territory rather than grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Guardian look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and thinning blue on the handguard and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering seen at Battle-Scarred. The cobalt base and stenciled CT logo keep it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as a Guardian in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal fresher for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Guardian design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred, whose float is capped at 0.50.
Which gloves suit the Guardian?
Its cobalt palette suits a cool, blue-toned CT loadout, so blue or blue-gray gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the base finish, while gray or black wraps keep it understated. It fits naturally into a defender-themed setup built around other blue CT skins.
