Design

The finish comes from community designers Cimota and MultiH, who painted the MAG-7 to resemble iridescent bismuth crystals — a spectrum-driven mix of cyan and pink across the shell. It carries the in-game line, "Why are the rarest things the most beautiful?"

Battle-Scarred runs a float of 0.45 to 0.60. Yes, more than you'd expect. Heavy scratching dims the iridescent glow, but the cyan-and-pink coloring stays visible, and the 0.60 float cap keeps copies from reaching the most extreme wear. From gameplay distance it still reads as a bright, distinctive shotgun rather than a beaten-up one.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely trashed here?

Because the float is capped at 0.60 instead of the usual 1.0. That ceiling means the game never rolls this finish into the very worst wear band, so even Battle-Scarred copies keep more of their surface and color than a fully uncapped skin would at the same grade.
