MAG-7 | Hard Water (Minimal Wear)

MAG-7 | Hard Water (Minimal Wear)

The MAG-7 | Hard Water (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with a gray anodized body and cool blue and cyan highlights. Minimal Wear is a near-top grade that keeps the color strong while trimming a little off the Factory New price.

Design

The look centers on a gray anodized base with bright blue and cyan highlights worked over it, a modern, technological styling that leans on color contrast instead of graphics. Community artist Nannou created it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "I wouldn't drink that."

MAG-7 | Hard Water (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Within the finish's 0.00–0.45 float range, Minimal Wear covers the low band just above Factory New. At this level the anodized gray still reads deep and the blue accents stay vivid, with only the faintest edge wear on close inspection. It's the value pick for anyone who wants a high grade without paying the very top.

MAG-7 | Hard Water Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the most common of the standard colored grades, which is exactly why this shotgun stays cheap and easy to source.

MAG-7 | Hard Water Case and Collection

Part of The Operation Hydra Collection, this MAG-7 comes out of the Operation Hydra Case that launched with Operation Hydra in May 2017. Across the case the Mil-Spec tier pulls at roughly 79.92% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), so there's no scarcity driving the price.

MAG-7 | Hard Water Patterns

There's no random pattern roll here — the artwork is fixed, so the anodized gray and the blue highlights sit identically on every unit. No paint seed or blue-gem variant is worth hunting; the only real differences between copies come down to wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ MAG-7 | Hard Water, which brings a confirmed-kill counter and drops from the Operation Hydra Case; it's rarer and costs more, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. No Souvenir edition was ever made, because Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages and this finish never appeared in one.

MAG-7 | Hard Water Price

Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the ladder, a small saving for a look that's very close to the top grade — a smart middle option in an already affordable, mid-tier lineup. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Minimal Wear look much different from Factory New?

Barely. The anodized gray base and cyan highlights hold up well, so a Minimal Wear copy reads almost identical to Factory New at a glance, with only faint edge wear under close inspection. For most players it's the smarter buy — near-top looks at a lower price.

Is Hard Water a rare skin?

No. It's a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier and the most common colored grade to pull from the Operation Hydra Case. That abundance is a plus for buyers — it keeps every wear affordable and easy to find on the market.

Does the paint seed matter on Hard Water?

Not at all. The design is fixed, so the seed index never changes how the shotgun looks — every copy carries the gray anodized finish and blue accents the same way. There's no premium pattern to chase, which makes buying purely a question of wear and price.
