MAG-7 | Hazard (Field-Tested)
The MAG-7 | Hazard (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin in bold yellow-and-black hazard stripes, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most affordable common way into a finish that trades high overall thanks to its age.
Design
At its core the finish is a loud yellow-and-black hazard stripe pattern sprayed across the MAG-7 — the classic warning motif, styled as a memento from the map Siege. It's Valve's own design, paired with the in-game line: "DO NOT CROSS."
MAG-7 | Hazard (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested lands in the middle of the 0.06–0.80 float range, so light scratching shows along the edges and contact points. The high-contrast stripes take it in stride — the yellow and black stay easy to read even with some scuffing — so the shotgun still looks the part at playing distance. This is the grade most buyers settle on for the value.
MAG-7 | Hazard Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the usual home of the most common weapon skins. On Hazard, though, that unassuming rarity color sits under a price shaped by supply, not tier.
MAG-7 | Hazard Case and Collection
This finish is drawn from The Alpha Collection, which debuted with Operation Bravo in September 2013. The collection never had a weapon case behind it — its skins came as gameplay drops during the operation — and with that source long closed, even Field-Tested copies aren't as cheap as the Mil-Spec label might imply.
MAG-7 | Hazard Patterns
Because the design is fixed, the paint-seed index does nothing here — the yellow-and-black stripes are placed the same on every single copy. There's no blue-gem seed to seek out, so wear and float are all that distinguish one Field-Tested unit from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Hazard was never made. StatTrak versions are minted only from weapon cases, and this finish reached players through a collection drop instead, so the variant simply doesn't exist. The same goes for Souvenir — those come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and Hazard was never handed out in one.
MAG-7 | Hazard Price
Field-Tested is the value anchor of the range — the cheapest common grade — but because the whole finish is grail-tier money for a MAG-7, "value" here still means a meaningful outlay. It's the most sensible entry point for the design. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Hazard look?
Moderately. Expect visible scratching along the edges and high-contact areas, but the bold yellow-and-black stripes stay perfectly legible through it. The pattern's high contrast means the warning motif still reads clearly at in-game distance, making Field-Tested a fair balance of appearance and cost.
Is Field-Tested the best value Hazard?
For most buyers, yes. It's the cheapest of the common grades and looks close to the higher wears at playing distance, since the stripes shrug off light scuffing. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier wear.
Can I get a StatTrak Hazard?
No — it doesn't exist. StatTrak is a separate variant minted from weapon cases, and Hazard came from The Alpha Collection's drop pool rather than a case, so no StatTrak copies were ever created. Every Hazard on the market is the standard, counter-free version.
