MAG-7 | Hazard (Minimal Wear)

MAG-7 | Hazard (Minimal Wear)

The MAG-7 | Hazard (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin painted in bold yellow-and-black hazard stripes. Minimal Wear is a near-top grade that keeps the warning motif sharp while sitting a step below the priciest Factory New copies.

Design

The look is pure warning-sign energy: yellow-and-black hazard stripes spray-painted across the MAG-7, styled as a memento from the map Siege. Valve designed the finish, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "DO NOT CROSS."

MAG-7 | Hazard (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Inside the 0.06–0.80 float range, Minimal Wear covers the low band just above Factory New. The yellow stripes stay vivid and the black bands hold their edge, with only the faintest wear on close inspection. It's the grade for buyers who want a near-flawless look without paying the very top of the ladder.

MAG-7 | Hazard Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — usually the most common grade among standard weapons. Here, though, the modest rarity color belies a price driven by age and scarcity rather than tier.

MAG-7 | Hazard Case and Collection

This finish comes from The Alpha Collection, released alongside Operation Bravo in September 2013. Rather than dropping from a weapon case, the collection's skins were given out as gameplay drops during the operation, and that limited, no-longer-active source is why supply stays tight.

MAG-7 | Hazard Patterns

There's no random pattern roll on this finish — the artwork is fixed, so the yellow-and-black stripes sit identically on every copy. No paint seed or blue-gem edition is worth seeking out; wear and float are the only variables separating one Minimal Wear unit from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition of Hazard exists. Because StatTrak weapons are minted only inside weapon cases and this finish was distributed through a collection instead, none were ever made. There's likewise no Souvenir version, since Souvenir weapons are produced solely from Major-tournament packages and Hazard was never part of one.

MAG-7 | Hazard Price

Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the ladder, a modest saving on a look that's very close to the top grade — but the whole line is high-end, grail-tier money for a shotgun, so even this grade is a serious pickup. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Minimal Wear look much different from Factory New?

Hardly. The high-contrast yellow-and-black stripes hold up well, so a Minimal Wear copy reads almost identical to Factory New at a glance, with only faint edge wear up close. Given how much cheaper it can be than the top grade, it's often the smarter buy for this pricey finish.

Is Hazard a good investment?

It has the traits collectors like — an old, discontinued source and genuinely limited supply — which is why it already trades at grail-tier money. Prices can move either way, so treat it as a collector piece you enjoy rather than a guaranteed return, and buy the wear that fits your budget.

Where does the Hazard MAG-7 come from?

It belongs to The Alpha Collection, introduced with Operation Bravo in September 2013. Its skins were handed out as gameplay drops during that operation rather than unboxed from a case, so the pool is closed and finite today — the root cause of the finish's scarcity and high price.
