MAG-7 | Hazard (Battle-Scarred)
The MAG-7 | Hazard (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin in yellow-and-black hazard stripes, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the lowest-cost way into a scarce, long-discontinued finish, trading surface condition for the smallest outlay.
Design
The design stays unmistakable: bold yellow-and-black hazard stripes sprayed across the MAG-7, styled as a memento from the map Siege. Valve created the finish, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "DO NOT CROSS."
MAG-7 | Hazard (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the 0.06–0.80 float range. Because the finish is capped at 0.80 rather than a full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear — the damage is heavy, with widespread scratching and paint loss, but the yellow-and-black stripes stay bold enough to keep the warning motif clearly readable.
MAG-7 | Hazard Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, typically the most common weapon grade. On Hazard the color tells only half the story, since the finish's price is set by its limited supply rather than its rarity.
MAG-7 | Hazard Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Alpha Collection, which arrived with Operation Bravo in September 2013. It was never sold through a weapon case — the collection's skins came as gameplay drops during the operation — and that closed, finite source is exactly why every wear, this one included, holds its value.
MAG-7 | Hazard Patterns
The finish has no random pattern roll: the yellow-and-black stripes are fixed and land the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue-gem edition to chase. Even at Battle-Scarred, the only real differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak™ Hazard — the variant was never minted, because StatTrak weapons only originate from weapon cases and this finish reached players via a collection drop. A Souvenir version is equally absent, since Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages and Hazard was never included in one.
MAG-7 | Hazard Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to own the design for players who prize the look over the condition. Even so, the skin's scarcity keeps it firmly in high-end money for a MAG-7. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Hazard still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the bright yellow stripes and black bands keep the warning motif clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price on the finish, not losing the look — the high-contrast pattern holds up well.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Hazard look fully trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear point. The damage is heavy but stops short of total, and the bold stripe pattern keeps the shotgun legible even at its roughest grade.
Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest Hazard?
Yes — it's the lowest rung on this finish's price ladder. That said, "cheapest" is relative: because Hazard comes from the discontinued Alpha Collection and supply is tight, even a Battle-Scarred copy trades at high-end money for a MAG-7, above what its Mil-Spec rarity would usually command.
