MAG-7 | Storm (Factory New)

MAG-7 | Storm (Factory New)

The MAG-7 | Storm (Factory New) is a Consumer Grade shotgun skin with its panels painted solid in a stormy gray color scheme. Factory New is the cleanest grade the finish comes in, showing the dark, overcast tones evenly and without any surface wear.

Design

Storm blocks the MAG-7 out in solid, muted color — moody grays that echo an overcast, stormy sky, with no decals or graphics laid over the top. It's a Valve-made finish, and it carries a cryptic in-game line: "It will be waiting for you at the monorail."

MAG-7 | Storm (Factory New) Float and Wear

Storm runs a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Factory New sits right at the low end, where the gray panels look flat and even across the body and pump with no scratching at all. Since the base is already dark and understated, this grade is for players who want the coat perfectly uniform.

MAG-7 | Storm Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade — the entry white/gray tier at the very bottom of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common class of skin in the game and the cheapest way onto the MAG-7.

MAG-7 | Storm Case and Collection

Storm belongs to The Overpass Collection, introduced with Operation Breakout in June 2014. The regular version isn't unboxed from a case — it comes through the collection's drop pool and trade-up contracts, which is standard for the low Consumer tier.

MAG-7 | Storm Patterns

The finish is fixed, so the paint-seed index does nothing to change how it looks — every copy carries the stormy gray scheme the same way. There's no rare seed or blue gem to hunt; wear and float are the only things separating one from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version — that counter is minted only inside weapon cases, and this finish has no case behind it. It does exist as both a regular and a Souvenir finish: Souvenir copies were handed out in Major-tournament souvenir packages, starting with the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass package and continuing through later Major packages.

MAG-7 | Storm Price

As a Consumer Grade finish, Storm sits in the affordable band among MAG-7 skins, and Factory New is the priciest grade on its ladder — still a low-cost pickup overall. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it on Storm?

Only if you want the coat flawless. The stormy gray scheme is dark and matte, so a Minimal Wear copy looks almost identical for less money. Factory New makes sense if you like your skins pristine on principle, but the savings a grade down are hard to argue with on this understated finish.

What color gloves match Storm?

Its moody gray palette suits a dark, low-key loadout, so gray, charcoal, or black gloves keep the overcast mood intact. Neutral wraps let the stormy tones stay the focus, while a black pair adds subtle contrast — steer clear of bright colors that would clash with the muted, cloudy vibe.

Does Storm have a Souvenir version?

Yes. Beside the regular finish, Souvenir copies exist from Major-tournament souvenir packages — first the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass package, then several later Majors. Souvenir versions carry gold nameplate stickers and are generally rarer than the standard drop.
