Negev | Phoenix Stencil (Battle-Scarred)

The Negev | Phoenix Stencil (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec Grade machine gun skin, its brown graffiti design shown in the most heavily worn condition available. It's the cheapest way into this Havoc Collection finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.

Design

The design is a brown coat sprayed with a multicolored pattern of Phoenix Connexion graffiti, drawing on the faction's street tags. Valve built the finish, which carries the defiant line "We cannot be killed!"

Negev | Phoenix Stencil (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

This finish is float-capped at 0.65 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear a skin can show. The damage is still heavy — broad scratching and paint loss across the body, the brown worn thin — but the cap keeps it milder than a Battle-Scarred skin that rolls all the way to 1.0, and the graffiti stays readable.

Negev | Phoenix Stencil Rarity

It's a Mil-Spec Grade skin — the blue tier at the base of the standard weapon grades, the most common rarity in its collection.

Negev | Phoenix Stencil Case and Collection

Phoenix Stencil sits in The Havoc Collection, which debuted with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. Across that pool the Mil-Spec tier is the most frequent, at roughly 79.92% of pulls, so supply is abundant and the market is flush with copies at every grade.

Negev | Phoenix Stencil Patterns

There's no paint-seed lottery on this finish: the brown base and graffiti positions are fixed on every copy, so no "blue gem" or rare pattern exists to seek. The only variables between copies are the wear grade and the exact float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak Phoenix Stencil was ever produced, because StatTrak counters are minted only on skins pulled from weapon cases and this one is a collection finish. The same applies to Souvenir: those versions come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and The Havoc Collection was never offered as a Major drop.

Negev | Phoenix Stencil Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run this graffiti design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Phoenix Stencil still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy wear, the brown base and multicolored graffiti keep the design clearly identifiable in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible scratching and paint loss for the lowest price, not losing the look — and the finish's float cap helps it stay readable even at its roughest.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Phoenix Stencil look completely destroyed?

Because the finish caps at a float of 0.65 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear a full-range skin can. That cap keeps the graffiti legible and the surface from ever looking totally trashed, even at this grade.

Is Battle-Scarred the best-value Phoenix Stencil?

It's the lowest entry price, so it's the pick if budget is your main concern — you get the full graffiti design for the least money, at the cost of visible wear. Buyers who want a cleaner surface for a small premium tend to look at Field-Tested or Well-Worn instead.
