Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT (Field-Tested)
The Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT (Field-Tested) is a Restricted shotgun skin finished in an orange Digital Disruptive Pattern hydrographic. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it, adding light honest wear to the bold pixel camo.
Design
The look is a full orange DDPAT — a Digital Disruptive Pattern hydrographic that scatters the bright orange into blocky pixel camo over the whole shotgun. It's a Valve-made finish, complete with the wry line "By the time you're close enough to notice the pixels it's already too late."
Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested occupies the middle of the finish's 0.06–0.80 float range, where light scratching turns up along the edges and high-contact areas. The busy orange camo hides most of it, so the skin still reads bold at gameplay distance. It's the grade most copies fall into and the everyday balance of look and cost.
Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, positioned above the common blue and white grades among the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.
Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT Case and Collection
Drawn from The eSports 2013 Collection, this finish comes out of the eSports 2013 Case, which arrived in August 2013 with The Arms Deal — the patch that first added weapon skins. The Restricted tier as a group drops about 15.98% from the case (a rate shared across the tier), and as an early, retired case its supply stays fixed.
Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT Patterns
The pixel camo carries no pattern lottery: the DDPAT sits the same way on every copy no matter the seed, so there's no premium index or "blue gem" to seek out. Copies differ only by their wear and float values.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version of this finish exists, minted from the eSports 2013 Case, bringing a confirmed-kill counter along; it's rarer and dearer than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. There's no Souvenir edition, as Souvenir weapons are produced only for Major-tournament packages and this finish was never in one.
Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT Price
Field-Tested sits mid-ladder, below the two top grades while keeping the orange camo fully readable — the most accessible way into this otherwise pricey finish. Even here it's a high-end shotgun skin, just a relative bargain within its own range. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Orange DDPAT look?
Lightly. Small scratches appear on the edges and contact points, but the dense orange pixel camo disguises most of it, so the finish keeps its bold color at gameplay distance. It's a clear step down from the top grades only under close inspection, not in normal play.
Is Field-Tested the best value Orange DDPAT?
For most buyers, yes. It costs well below Factory New and Minimal Wear while keeping the camo vivid thanks to the wear-hiding pattern, and it's the most common grade around. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you'll accept heavier scuffing on the body.
Why is even the Field-Tested grade pricey?
Because the whole finish sits in grail-tier territory. It comes from the eSports 2013 Case, one of the oldest and long-retired, so supply is fixed and shrinking across every grade. Field-Tested is the cheapest entry, but the case's age and scarcity keep even it well above ordinary shotgun-skin prices.
