Sawed-Off | Black Sand (Well-Worn)
The Sawed-Off | Black Sand (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with a tan and black military camo, shown in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper route into the tactical design, with wear the camo still partly disguises.
Design
The finish is a straightforward tactical wrap: a tan and black military camo across the shotgun, all utility and no flourish. It began as a community design from MGBazz, and it wears a fitting line in game: "Mikah did not account for highly motivated opposition."
Sawed-Off | Black Sand (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Along the 0.00–0.90 float range, Well-Worn sits toward the top. Expect clear scratching and paint thinning across the body and edges here, with the finish showing its age, though the camo pattern keeps things legible. It's for players who put price ahead of a pristine surface.
Sawed-Off | Black Sand Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier at the bottom of the standard weapon grades. Being the most common class, it keeps even this worn grade cheap and easy to find.
Sawed-Off | Black Sand Case and Collection
Black Sand sits in The Danger Zone Collection and is unboxed from the Danger Zone Case, released in December 2018. The blue Mil-Spec tier is the most common grade from the case, a rate shared across its skins, and the market feeds much of the supply alongside unboxings.
Sawed-Off | Black Sand Patterns
With a fixed design, the paint seed has no bearing on the look — the tan and black camo appears identically on every copy. No seed is worth hunting and there's no blue-gem edition, so the only meaningful differences come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish is available with StatTrak, minted via the Danger Zone Case, and its kill counter never gets wiped as the weapon is traded or sold. There is no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons are produced only through Major-tournament packages, and this skin was never included in one.
Sawed-Off | Black Sand Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's price ladder, below Field-Tested, making it the budget entry point for the camo design. If the look matters to you more than a spotless surface, it's the cheapest practical grade. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn Black Sand look?
Fairly weathered — there's visible scratching and paint thinning across the body and edges, more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest grade. The tan-and-black camo keeps the finish readable in-game, so it's still clearly Black Sand, just with obvious mileage on it.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price leads your decision. Field-Tested keeps the camo cleaner for a modest step up in cost, and it hides wear well, so most buyers favor it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the tactical design as cheaply as possible and don't mind the extra scuffing.
Can I get this skin with a kill counter?
Yes. A StatTrak version is minted through the Danger Zone Case and tracks confirmed kills, a total that never gets wiped when the item is traded. It's rarer and pricier than the plain finish, so expect to pay more than the standard Well-Worn copy for the counter.
