Sawed-Off | Parched (Battle-Scarred)

Sawed-Off | Parched (Battle-Scarred)

The Sawed-Off | Parched (Battle-Scarred) is a Consumer Grade shotgun skin with flowers over a dry, cracked base in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the floral-on-cracked-earth look, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.

Design

Parched keeps a distinctive identity: vibrant flowers spray-painted over a dry, cracked base, color meeting decay in a "nature wins" theme. It's a Valve-made finish, complete with a fitting in-game line: "Nature always wins."

Sawed-Off | Parched (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred is the top of the finish's float range, but that range caps at 0.49 rather than the full 1.0 — so even the roughest copies stay milder than a normal Battle-Scarred skin. You'll see heavier scuffing and faded flowers across the body, yet the pattern remains readable and never hits the extreme end of the wear scale.

Sawed-Off | Parched Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white tier and the foundation of the skin grades. Being the most common rarity around, it's about as inexpensive a finish as you'll find on the Sawed-Off.

Sawed-Off | Parched Case and Collection

This finish sits in The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, which arrived with Operation Riptide in September 2021. It has no weapon case — copies come from collection drops instead of unboxing, which is why supply concentrates on the market.

Sawed-Off | Parched Patterns

The floral design has no random roll — its artwork appears identically on every copy, so there's no seed or "blue gem" to hunt. The only things that set copies apart are wear level and float value.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak variant, since StatTrak is minted through weapon cases and this finish belongs to a collection rather than a case. A Souvenir version does exist, first appearing in the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package and continuing across later Major souvenir packages — but this page is the regular finish, not the Souvenir one.

Sawed-Off | Parched Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the floral design for players who care about the look far more than the condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Parched still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavier scuffing and faded color, the flowers and cracked base keep enough shape for the design to read at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the look altogether.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Parched look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.49 rather than the full 1.0. The game never rolls a copy past that point, so Battle-Scarred versions never reach the most extreme wear and stay noticeably milder than the worst grade on an uncapped skin.

Is Battle-Scarred Parched worth buying?

If you want the design for the least money, yes. It's the lowest price point on an already cheap Consumer Grade finish, and the float cap keeps the wear from getting out of hand. For a fresher surface, Field-Tested costs only a little more.
