Sawed-Off | Copper (Field-Tested)
The Sawed-Off | Copper (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin plated in warm copper. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it, adding a touch of honest wear at a friendlier price.
Design
The shell is finished entirely in copper plating, a single-tone metallic look that skips graphics in favor of the metal's own warm sheen. This is a Valve-made design and one of the oldest in CS2, carried by that plated surface alone.
Sawed-Off | Copper (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
The finish covers the full 0.00 to 1.00 float range, and Field-Tested lands in the middle of it. At this grade the copper picks up light-to-moderate darkening and scuffing on the edges and high points, giving the plating a slightly aged, weathered look while the warm tone stays clearly present. It's the practical grade for the metallic look without the top-tier premium.
Sawed-Off | Copper Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, first of the colored weapon grades above Consumer and Industrial. It's a common grade in general, though this finish still commands the Sawed-Off's highest values.
Sawed-Off | Copper Case and Collection
This finish is one of The Dust Collection's skins, an original set that arrived with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. As the collection was never issued as a weapon case, its finishes come from drops and trade-ups rather than case openings, and most copies are bought on the market.
Sawed-Off | Copper Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on this finish — the copper plating lands the same on every copy, so no paint seed or blue-gem variant is worth chasing. Wear and float are all that separate one Field-Tested piece from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin: StatTrak is minted by weapon cases, and The Dust Collection was never released as one. Nor is there a Souvenir edition, since Souvenir weapons only come out of Major-tournament packages and this finish was never part of one.
Sawed-Off | Copper Price
Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's price ladder — cheaper than the Minimal Wear and Factory New grades while keeping the copper tone clearly visible. Even so, as the top-valued Sawed-Off finish, it remains a high-end pick for the model. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Copper look worn?
Somewhat. There's light-to-moderate darkening and scuffing on the edges and raised areas, giving the plating an aged, weathered character. The warm copper tone stays clearly present, though, so the finish still reads as a Copper rather than a badly damaged shotgun.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For value-minded buyers, often yes. It costs less than the cleaner grades while keeping the metallic look intact, and it's the most common condition on the market. If you want a bright, polished surface, step up to Minimal Wear; for the lowest price, Well-Worn goes cheaper.
Why is a Mil-Spec shotgun priced so high?
Rarity tier isn't the whole story. This is the highest-valued regular finish for the Sawed-Off, drawn from a 2013 original collection with a caseless, capped supply. Age and steady collector demand for the clean copper look lift its price well above what its Mil-Spec grade suggests.
