Sawed-Off | Copper (Well-Worn)

Sawed-Off | Copper (Well-Worn)

The Sawed-Off | Copper (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin in copper plating, here in a more weathered state. It's a lower-cost route into the metallic look, with darkening and wear that give the plating an aged patina.

Design

At its core the finish is a full coat of copper plating — a warm, single-tone metallic style with no decals, resting on the sheen of the metal. Valve built the design as one of the game's earliest skins, and its whole appeal is that plated surface.

Sawed-Off | Copper (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish uses the full 0.00 to 1.00 float range, and Well-Worn sits high on that scale. Darkening, scuffing, and paint thinning show clearly across the shell and edges, muting the shine into a worn, aged copper look. For players who care more about price than a polished surface, this grade delivers the metallic character for less.

Sawed-Off | Copper Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier that begins the colored weapon grades above Consumer and Industrial. It's a common grade across the board, yet this finish holds the top of the Sawed-Off's value range regardless.

Sawed-Off | Copper Case and Collection

This finish is drawn from The Dust Collection, an original set that debuted with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. The collection was never turned into a weapon case, so its skins are earned through drops and trade-ups rather than unboxing, and the market is where most copies trade.

Sawed-Off | Copper Patterns

The plating is a fixed finish, so the paint seed changes nothing about a copy's look — every one is plated identically, with no rare seed or blue gem to seek. What differs between copies is simply the wear grade and float number.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak version of this shotgun doesn't exist, because StatTrak is generated by weapon cases and The Dust Collection wasn't sold as one. There's no Souvenir version either — Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament packages, and this finish never appeared in a Major drop.

Sawed-Off | Copper Price

Well-Worn sits low on the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — the more affordable route to the copper look for players who don't mind an aged surface. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn Copper look?

Distinctly aged. You'll see darkening, scuffing, and paint thinning across the shell and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The result reads like weathered, oxidized copper, which some buyers actually prefer for its patina character.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

It depends on taste and budget. Field-Tested keeps more of the plating's shine for a modest step up in cost, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn appeals if you want the aged-copper patina, or simply the metallic look at a lower price than the mid grade.

Where do Well-Worn copies come from?

From The Dust Collection, which has no weapon case, so copies enter circulation through in-game drops and trade-ups rather than unboxing. Since this is the Sawed-Off's top-valued finish, even worn grades stay sought after and priced well above most other Sawed-Off skins.
