Sawed-Off | Copper (Factory New)
The Sawed-Off | Copper (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin finished in solid copper plating. Factory New is the cleanest grade it comes in, showing the metal at its brightest and most reflective.
Design
The whole shell is copper plated, a single-tone metallic look that trades graphics for the warm sheen of the metal itself. It's a Valve-made finish, one of the oldest in the game, and it leans entirely on that plated surface for its character.
Sawed-Off | Copper (Factory New) Float and Wear
Float runs the full 0.00 to 1.00 across this finish, and Factory New sits at the low end under 0.07. Here the copper plating reads bright and even, with no oxidation or scuffing to dull the reflection. This is the grade to reach for if you want the metal looking freshly polished.
Sawed-Off | Copper Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the entry rung of the colored weapon grades above Consumer and Industrial. It's a common, accessible grade, though this particular finish sits at the top of its model's value range.
Sawed-Off | Copper Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Dust Collection, one of the original sets introduced with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. The collection isn't sold as a weapon case — its skins come from drops and trade-ups rather than unboxing, so buyers usually source copies on the market.
Sawed-Off | Copper Patterns
The copper plating is a fixed finish: the paint seed doesn't change how it looks, so every copy is plated identically and there's no "best pattern" or blue-gem seed to hunt. Only wear and float separate one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak version of this shotgun — StatTrak finishes are minted through weapon cases, and The Dust Collection was never released as one. A Souvenir version doesn't exist either, because Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never offered in one.
Sawed-Off | Copper Price
Factory New tops this finish's price ladder as the highest grade available, a clear step above Minimal Wear. As the priciest regular Sawed-Off finish, it's a grail-tier pick for the model — expensive for a Mil-Spec, but that reflects its standing. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Why is the Copper so expensive for a Mil-Spec?
Despite its common rarity tier, it's the highest-valued regular finish for the Sawed-Off, prized as a clean, single-tone metallic look from one of the game's original 2013 collections. Age, a caseless supply, and collector demand for the polished copper plating all push it into grail territory for the model.
Which gloves match the Copper?
Its warm metallic tone suits an earthy, bronze-leaning loadout, so brown, tan, or copper-toned gloves pair best — a bronze or leather-look wrap echoes the plating, while darker brown gloves add contrast. Anything in the warm-metal-to-brown range keeps the finish looking cohesive.
Does the Factory New Copper look different from worn grades?
Yes. Factory New shows the copper plating at its brightest, with an even, reflective surface and no oxidation. Lower grades add darkening and scuffing that mute that shine, so the top grade is where the metal looks its most polished — which is part of why it commands the range's highest price.
