Sawed-Off | Copper (Battle-Scarred)

Sawed-Off | Copper (Battle-Scarred)

The Sawed-Off | Copper (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin in copper plating at its most weathered. It's the most affordable way into the finish, trading a polished surface for the lowest entry price.

Design

The finish is a full copper plating over the shell — a warm, single-tone metallic look with no graphics, defined by the metal's own sheen. It's a Valve-made design and one of the oldest in the game, carried entirely by that plated coat.

Sawed-Off | Copper (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

The finish runs the full float range up to 1.00, so at Battle-Scarred it reaches the extreme end of the wear scale. Heavy darkening, scuffing, and paint loss cover the shell, leaving the copper looking deeply oxidized and battered. For players who want the metallic look at rock-bottom cost, this is where the finish is cheapest.

Sawed-Off | Copper Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier at the start of the colored weapon grades above Consumer and Industrial. It's a common grade in general, though this finish still commands the highest values in the Sawed-Off lineup.

Sawed-Off | Copper Case and Collection

Belonging to The Dust Collection, this finish launched with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Because the collection was never made into a weapon case, its skins arrive via drops and trade-ups rather than unboxing, and the market is where most copies are traded.

Sawed-Off | Copper Patterns

Because the copper plating is a fixed design, the paint seed has no effect on the look — every copy is plated the same, and there's no blue-gem seed or standout pattern to track down. Only the wear grade and float number distinguish one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is no StatTrak variant of this skin; StatTrak is minted by weapon cases, and The Dust Collection never shipped as one. A Souvenir version is missing as well, since Souvenir weapons are created only in Major-tournament packages and this finish was never featured in one.

Sawed-Off | Copper Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to own this top-valued Sawed-Off skin for players who prioritize the look over the condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Copper still recognizable?

Yes. Even under heavy oxidation and scuffing, the warm metallic base keeps it identifiable as a Copper at a glance in-game. Many buyers actually like the heavily weathered, aged-metal look, so Battle-Scarred reads as deeply patinated rather than simply ruined.

Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest way to own the Copper?

Yes. It's the lowest grade in the range and the least expensive entry to this otherwise pricey finish. Because it's the Sawed-Off's top-valued skin, even the Battle-Scarred grade isn't dirt cheap, but it's the most budget-friendly way to add the copper look to a loadout.

Why does the Battle-Scarred Copper look so oxidized?

The finish uses the full float range up to 1.00, so its worst copies hit the extreme end of the wear scale. That heavy wear reads as dark, tarnished copper — a look some collectors seek out deliberately for its aged, real-metal character rather than avoiding it.
