The SCAR-20 | Magna Carta (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec autosniper skin showing a purple pattern of crests, scrawls, and medieval text. Field-Tested is the middle grade and the most common way to own the finish, mixing a bit of honest wear with a friendlier price.
Design
A purple pattern of heraldic crests, handwritten scrawls, and passages of text from the Magna Carta covers the rifle, a Valve design that folds a medieval charter into a modern battlefield weapon. Its in-game line ties the theme together: "Everyone is subject to due process—even you."
SCAR-20 | Magna Carta (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested falls in the middle of the finish's 0.00–0.60 float range. At this grade light scratching appears along the edges and high-contact areas, and the purple dulls a shade from its Factory New peak, though the crests and lettering stay readable. It is the balanced, everyday grade — visible wear, but nothing that muddies the artwork.
SCAR-20 | Magna Carta Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier at the base of the standard weapon grades. As the most abundant band in the game, it keeps this finish easy to find and easy to afford.
SCAR-20 | Magna Carta Case and Collection
Introduced with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020, the finish sits inside The Control Collection. There is no key or case to open for it — Control Collection skins come through the game's drop system and trade-up contracts, so the market is where most copies change hands.

Every copy of this finish shares one fixed layout; the paint-seed index has no say in where the crests or text sit. That means there is no rare seed or blue-gem edition to search for, and float is the sole variable that separates one listing from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You will not find a StatTrak edition of this finish, as none was ever released with a kill counter. Nor is there a Souvenir version: those are produced only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish never shipped in one. The regular finish is the only variant available.

FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Magna Carta still look good?
Yes. The wear at this grade is light edge scratching and a slight dulling of the purple, but the dense crest-and-text artwork hides scuffing well and stays fully legible. For a rifle you actually play with rather than just admire on the inspect screen, Field-Tested is a sensible, good-value pick.
Why is there no StatTrak Magna Carta?
StatTrak versions are seeded into weapon cases, and this finish comes from The Control Collection, which is a drop-and-trade-up set with no keyed case attached. Since it never shipped through a case, no StatTrak edition was ever generated for it — only the regular finish exists.
How worn will a Field-Tested copy be?
Expect modest, even wear: fine scratches on the barrel, magazine, and edges, plus a small drop in the purple's vibrancy versus cleaner grades. It is clearly used but far from beaten up, and the medieval pattern remains the first thing anyone notices in-game.
