SCAR-20 | Palm (Factory New)
The SCAR-20 | Palm (Factory New) is an Industrial Grade autosniper skin with a gray finish sprayed through cardboard cutouts, fine mesh, and palm-leaf stencils. Factory New is the top grade, showing that stencilled foliage pattern at its most defined.
Design
This is a Valve-made finish built the old-fashioned way — the gray body was spray-painted using cardboard cutouts, fine mesh, and real palm leaves as stencils, leaving crisp foliage silhouettes across the rifle. It is a subtle, naturalistic look rather than a loud graphic, which is a big part of its enduring appeal.
SCAR-20 | Palm (Factory New) Float and Wear
The finish spans float 0.06–0.80, so it never rolls below 0.06 and Factory New copies sit right at that floor — genuinely scarce and prized for it. At this grade the gray stays even and the palm-leaf stencils read at their sharpest, with essentially no scuffing. It is the exterior collectors gravitate toward on this classic.
SCAR-20 | Palm Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, one step up from the base grade. It is a low rung on the ladder, but the finish's age and following have pushed its value well beyond what the rarity alone would suggest.
SCAR-20 | Palm Case and Collection
The Palm is part of The Dust Collection, one of the original sets introduced with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. That collection is not a keyed case — its skins come from in-game drops and trade-up contracts — and being an early-2013 collection, supply is old and thin, which underpins the finish's high value.
SCAR-20 | Palm Patterns
The stencilled design is fixed: the paint-seed index does not change how the palm leaves and mesh fall, so every copy carries the same layout. There is no blue-gem seed or rare pattern to hunt here — wear and float are what separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition of this finish was ever made, so there is no kill-counter variant in circulation. It has no Souvenir version either — Souvenir weapons are produced only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never handed out in one. The regular finish is the sole variant.
SCAR-20 | Palm Price
Factory New sits at the very top of this finish's price ladder, and given the Palm ranks as a high-end, grail-tier SCAR-20, a genuinely low-float Factory New copy is the priciest and most sought-after grade of the lot. It is available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Why is the Factory New Palm so expensive?
Two reasons stack up. The finish comes from a rare, old 2013 collection with thin supply, and its float floor of 0.06 makes true Factory New copies scarce and hard to source. Combine grail-tier demand for a classic gray finish with limited near-mint stock, and Factory New commands the top price by a wide margin.
What gloves suit the Palm?
Its muted gray-and-foliage palette is versatile, pairing well with olive, khaki, or gray gloves for a natural, tactical loadout. Black wraps also work as a clean neutral. Because the finish is understated, most earth-toned or gray accessories slot in without clashing, letting the stencilled leaves stay the focus.
Is the Palm pattern the same on every copy?
Yes. The stencilled palm-leaf design is fixed, so the paint seed does not rearrange it and every copy looks the same. There is no rare seed or blue-gem edition to seek out, which means the only choices that matter here are the wear grade and, closely tied to it, the float.
