The SCAR-20 | Palm (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade autosniper finish with a gray, stencilled foliage look, shown here in a more weathered state. It is a more approachable entry into a pricey classic, with wear that is clearly visible but does not erase the palm-leaf pattern.

Design

At its heart the Palm is a Valve stencil design: the gray finish was spray-painted through cardboard cutouts, fine mesh, and palm leaves, producing soft foliage silhouettes on the rifle. Even under wear, that naturalistic, understated character is what has kept the finish beloved since 2013.

SCAR-20 | Palm (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn sits high in the finish's 0.06–0.80 float range, near its upper limit. Expect clear scuffing and paint loss across the body, with the gray faded and the leaf stencils softened where the finish thins. Because the float caps at 0.80 rather than 1.0, though, this grade stays milder than a fully worn 1.0 skin.

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue rung just above the base grade. Its position is low on the ladder, yet the Palm's vintage appeal and scarce supply keep its value high regardless of the modest tier.

The Palm belongs to The Dust Collection, an original set that debuted with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. No case or key applies — the collection's skins come through drops and trade-up contracts — and being one of the oldest collections, its limited supply keeps the finish costly even at worn grades.

How worn does the Well-Worn Palm look?

Fairly worn. You will see obvious scuffing and paint thinning on the body and edges, with the gray dulled and the leaf stencils softened. The 0.80 float cap holds it back from the fully scoured extreme, so the foliage pattern stays recognizable and the finish still reads clearly as the Palm.

Is Well-Worn a cheaper way to own the Palm?

It is. Because the Palm carries a high-end price at every grade, Well-Worn is one of the least expensive ways to get a genuine copy, second only to Battle-Scarred. If you want the classic finish in your loadout and do not mind visible weathering, it is a sensible budget choice.

Does the float cap change how worn it gets?
