SCAR-20 | Splash Jam (Battle-Scarred)
The SCAR-20 | Splash Jam (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified rifle skin coated in a photographic hunting-camo hydrographic on the automatic sniper. Battle-Scarred is the roughest grade, trading surface condition for the lowest way into this Classified finish.
Design
A photographic hunting-camo hydrographic covers the SCAR-20's frame in a printed camouflage pattern, with no logo or decal in the mix. It's a Valve-made finish and one of the SCAR-20's oldest, going back to the game's first skin release.
SCAR-20 | Splash Jam (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish is float-capped at about 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred copies stop short of the most extreme wear. Heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the body, but the cap plus the dense camo print keep the pattern more legible here than on many lighter skins at this grade.
SCAR-20 | Splash Jam Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, sitting directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon tiers. It's an uncommon class, and that rarity is why even a battered copy of this finish holds a premium.
SCAR-20 | Splash Jam Case and Collection
This finish comes from The Militia Collection, introduced with the Arms Deal update in August 2013 — the debut of weapon skins in the game. The Classified tier drops roughly 3.2% of the time (a figure shared across the tier's skins), and because the collection's supply is fixed, almost every copy is bought on the market.
SCAR-20 | Splash Jam Patterns
The finish uses a fixed layout, meaning the paint seed has zero impact on how a copy looks — the hunting-camo print is identical across all of them. There's no "best pattern" or blue-gem seed to search for; the amount of wear is the only variable.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's neither a StatTrak nor a Souvenir version of this skin, just the standard finish. StatTrak has to be seeded by a Case built to offer it, and this finish never had one; Souvenir editions come only from Major-tournament packages, none of which ever included it.
SCAR-20 | Splash Jam Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of a premium Classified finish — the lowest-cost entry to the camo look for buyers who put price ahead of polish. It still carries more value than the SCAR-20's common skins thanks to its rarity. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Splash Jam still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the hunting-camo print keeps enough shape to read as Splash Jam from match distance. You're accepting visible wear for the lowest price on a Classified finish, not losing the camo look — the busy pattern does a lot to hide the damage.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Splash Jam look completely trashed?
Because the finish is capped around 0.80 float rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a dense camo print that masks scratches, the skin stays more legible at this grade than many lighter-colored finishes do.
Is Battle-Scarred Splash Jam worth buying?
It's worth it for buyers who want a Classified SCAR-20 finish at the smallest outlay. The camo pattern holds up under the wear, and you still get the rarity and vintage-collection pedigree for the lowest price in the range. Want a tidier surface?
