SCAR-20 | Cyrex (Field-Tested)
The SCAR-20 | Cyrex (Field-Tested) is a Classified autosniper skin with a high-tech black, white and red design. Field-Tested is the most common way to own the finish, adding honest wear at a lower cost than the higher grades.
Design
The Cyrex look is all machinery: a custom high-tech scheme in black, white and red across the SCAR-20, angular paneling and cybernetic linework giving it a half-robot feel. Community artist Nextgenz created the finish, and it comes with a tense in-game line: "Sebastien is coming for me Valeria... we don't have much time."
SCAR-20 | Cyrex (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
With the finish covering a 0.00–0.50 float band, Field-Tested lands in the middle of that range. Expect light scuffing along the edges and grip, but the red accents keep their glow and the black linework stays legible through it. This is the grade most players picture — a fair trade of a little wear for a friendlier entry point on a grail-tier skin.
SCAR-20 | Cyrex Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, one step under Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox, and that scarcity feeds the finish's high-end price.
SCAR-20 | Cyrex Case and Collection
Part of The Huntsman Collection, Cyrex is unboxed from the Huntsman Weapon Case that arrived with "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. As a group the Classified tier pulls at around 3.2% from the case (the odds are shared across the tier), and with the case no longer active, the market is where most copies come from now.
