SG 553 | Aerial (Well-Worn)
The SG 553 | Aerial (Well-Worn) shows the silver-and-yellow finish and wing decal with clear surface damage. It's a cheaper way to run the design for players who don't mind a more battered look.
Design
At its core, Aerial is a silver base accented with yellow paint and a white wing decal down the receiver, a simple contrast-driven look rather than a busy graphic. The design comes from community artist SLIMEface and pairs with the flavor line "Establish air superiority."
SG 553 | Aerial (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits toward the top end of the Aerial's 0.00–0.60 float range. Here the silver base shows noticeable scuffing and the yellow paint starts to look faded in places, though the wing decal still reads clearly enough to keep the design recognizable. It's a rougher copy at a lower price.
SG 553 | Aerial Rarity
This is a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier and the most common grade among standard weapon skins — a step above Consumer but well below the rarer covert-tier drops.
SG 553 | Aerial Case and Collection
Aerial drops from the Gamma Case as part of The Gamma Collection, which debuted with the Gamma Exposure update in June 2016. The Mil-Spec tier as a whole accounts for about 79.92% of what the case pays out, a rate shared across the tier rather than specific to this skin.
SG 553 | Aerial Patterns
The design is fixed across every copy — no paint seed or blue-gem variant changes how the silver, yellow, and wing decal sit on the model. Wear grade and float are the only variables between one Aerial and another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version of the Aerial exists too, tracking confirmed kills with a counter that only ever goes up and carries through trades and sales. No Souvenir edition was made, since Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages and the Gamma Collection has never been offered at one.
SG 553 | Aerial Price
Well-Worn ranks near the bottom of the Aerial's price ladder, above only Battle-Scarred, making it one of the cheapest ways to own the finish. Given the Aerial is already a budget skin, this grade is about as low-cost as the SG 553 line gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How much wear shows on the Well-Worn Aerial?
More than Field-Tested but less than Battle-Scarred — expect visible scuffing across the silver base and some fading in the yellow accents. The white wing decal still holds up well enough that the design stays easy to identify from a normal viewing distance in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth choosing over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner for a small cost difference, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense if you want the Aerial as cheaply as possible without going all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does the wear affect the wing decal specifically?
Not much — the decal is one of the more durable elements of the design and stays legible even as the surrounding silver base picks up scuffing and fading at this grade, which is part of why the finish still reads clearly despite the wear.
