XM1014 | Blue Tire (Field-Tested)
The XM1014 | Blue Tire (Field-Tested) is a Consumer Grade shotgun with a black and blue tire-tread spray pattern. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it, adding light wear to a bold graphic that shrugs most of it off.
Design
Blue Tire is all about its automotive motif: chunky black tread blocks laid over a blue field and sprayed the length of the shotgun. The finish is Valve-made and ships with a fitting in-game quip — "Burn rubber."
XM1014 | Blue Tire (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested falls in the middle of the capped 0.00–0.55 float range. At this grade light scratching appears on edges and high-contact spots, but the busy tire-tread graphic and the blue field hide it well from playing distance. It's the practical, everyday grade — real wear, still reading as a loud tire wrap.
XM1014 | Blue Tire Rarity
The grade is Consumer — the gray tier at the bottom of the standard weapon ranks. It's the most frequently seen band, and that abundance is exactly why this shotgun is so cheap to acquire.
XM1014 | Blue Tire Case and Collection
Blue Tire is a member of The 2021 Vertigo Collection, released during Operation Riptide on September 21, 2021. The collection isn't tied to a case, so instead of unboxing, players pick up copies as collection drops or straight from the market.
XM1014 | Blue Tire Patterns
There's no random pattern to chase. The tire-tread design is fixed, applied the same on every unit, meaning the seed number does nothing and there's no "blue gem" copy worth hunting. Copies differ only by their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Two versions exist — a regular finish and a Souvenir one — but there's no StatTrak variant, because no case ever gave it a kill counter. The Souvenir edition started in the Stockholm 2021 Vertigo Souvenir Package and later showed up in other Major souvenir packages, as only Major events mint Souvenir weapons.
XM1014 | Blue Tire Price
Field-Tested is the mid-ladder choice — cheaper than the two cleanest grades while keeping a near-identical look thanks to the busy graphic. It's an affordable, budget-to-mid entry into the finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Blue Tire look worn?
Only lightly at a glance. Field-Tested brings some edge scratching, but the busy black-and-blue tread graphic masks it well, so the shotgun still reads as a bold tire wrap in-game. Look closely and you'll catch the wear on corners and rails; from normal distance it holds up fine.
Is Field-Tested the best value Blue Tire?
For most players, yes. It's cheaper than the cleaner grades yet looks nearly the same because the loud pattern hides scratching. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost even less if you want the absolute lowest price, but Field-Tested strikes the best balance of look and cost on an already-cheap finish.
Where does Blue Tire's price sit among XM1014 skins?
Toward the affordable, budget-to-mid part of the range. As a Consumer Grade finish from a caseless collection, it never climbs to the pricey grail tier that some older XM1014 finishes reach — which makes it an easy, low-cost way to add a bold graphic to a budget loadout.
