What is a Quickswitch Bind in CS2?
Quickswitch bind allows players to switch to knife and then quickly back to the weapon. It’s a popular and helpful bind for snipers, who want to escape the delay after the shot. Quickswitch bind in CS2 is also working for Desert Eagle lovers. It doesn't make any impact on your recoil or fire rate but prevents automatic re-scoping and looks pretty cool, especially if you've got a fancy knife skin.
How to Make Quickswitch Bind in CS2?
Old binds from CS:GO don’t work anymore in CS2. But don’t worry, the developer made new ones, which will be very useful.
By default, your Quickswitch key is “Q”. It is named “Last Weapon Used” in Settings. For example, you switch from AWP to the knife, then press “Q” and you're back to a sniper rifle. But Quickswitch bind allows you to press once and do the same.
Here's how to set up a CS2 Quickswitch bind:
Open the Console (usually the '~' key)
Enter this command: alias +switchw "slot3"; alias -switchw "lastinv"; bind "Q" +switchw

Now the Quickswitch bind will work by pressing “Q”. But you can bind any other key, which you want.
When you press the bind key, it will switch to your knife (slot3) and then back to your last weapon when released.

What to Do If CS2 Quickswitch Bind is Not Working?
Some players report the problem with this. If the CS2 Quickswitch is not working for you, probably the bind isn’t saved. Type the command in your console: “host_writeconfig”. It will save your settings to a config file, which is automatically executed each time you start the game.
You can also type CS2 Quickswitch bind exactly in your autoexec.cfg file.
To find it, follow the next steps:
Steam - Counter-Strike - Properties - Installed Files - Browse.
Then press csgo - cfg - autoexec.cfg.
Just put the above command and save the file by pressing CTRL+S.
Now enjoy using the CS2 Quickswitch Bind and perform in the game at a high level.
