AK-47 Aphrodite Pattern Guide

We haven’t had an Armory exclusive in quite some time—not since the Heat Treated Desert Eagle — so Valve surprised players with a new limited-edition offer: the AK-47 Aphrodite. This skin is another interesting piece with highly contrasting looks depending on the pattern acquired. Similar to how one obtains the 'Deagle,' this AK skin can be exchanged for 125 stars in the Armory. Once you have a sufficient number of stars, you can exchange them for the skin, which will have a random pattern seed and visuals. We were asked how to differentiate the Aphrodite’s patterns and which ones are considered the best, so in today’s guide, we will provide everything you need to know about the Gold, Bronze, and Purple Gems of the latest Armory exclusive.

The AK-47 Aphrodite Color Scheme

The AK-47 | Aphrodite is a clear nod to Greek mythology, but compared to the majority of mythology-inspired skins in CS2 instead of a direct drawing of some deity or a character, the creators of this skin used the color scheme to come up with something ethereal. The pastel tones tied together with ivory, beige and bronze elements create this antique vibe, as if mimicking the ancient statues you could’ve seen in the museums. The pearlescent tone mixed with bronze can change a little bit depending on the pattern of the skin, and while the majority of the patterns are kind of similar, there are a few patterns that stand out from the rest drastically. Let’s take a closer look at some of them. 

The AK-47 Aphrodite Pattern Tier List

The AK-47 | Aphrodite patterns can make or break the skin in terms of rarity. The skin can shine with gold, purple or bronze hues, and some of the best patterns from each category tend to be more valuable in the community. There’s already an established tier system within these colors and there are also Rank 1 gems for each color.

AK-47 Aphrodite Purple Gems

As per usual, the bright purple and blue tend to be the most valuable in Counter-Strike 2. When it comes to the Aphrodite, the purple gems look extremely vibrant and tasteful due to the combination of pink gradient and ivory magazine and forend. In a few other variants there can be certain color shifts on the wooden and plastic parts of the gun, but the metal parts are predominantly pink or light purple. Expect these patterns to be the most expensive once the skin hits the marketplaces.

AK-47 Aphrodite Gold Gems

The Aphrodite Gold Gems are very tasteful and elegant. While some other “Gold Gems” are often dismissed (Case Hardened, Heat Treated, Fade) and considered less desirable, the Aphrodite Gold Gem is promising to be an instant success. The receiver and smaller metal parts shimmer with bright gold hues. The Tier 1 Gold Gems will have the most saturated tones and minimal color bleed.

AK-47 Aphrodite Bronze Gems

The last but not least are the Bronze Gems that have quite interesting visuals. The deep bronze tones shimmer with sparse blue and green hues depending on the lighting. Certain patterns from this list combine the bronze metal parts with wooden and plastic elements in various shades of pastel pink, light yellow and even light green hues. We can assume that these patterns will be in a relative abundance, meaning that they’ll be more accessible for the players.
