The Armory Update finally brought a lot of content to the CS2 community, especially considering that it’s the first content drop in a somewhat similar fashion of the beloved CS:GO Operations. If you want to get a full read on The Armory update, then check out a dedicated blog post. However, there was one item that stood out from the others – a limited edition Heat Treated Deagle, available to players within the first 103 days of The Armory update. Now that the Heat Treated Deagle has been finally deleted from the Armory, it is high time to find out which patterns are the most desirable.

Desert Eagle Heat Treated Pattern

The Heat Treated Desert Eagle was released within the Armory Update as a limited edition item on October 3, 2024. What is unique about it is that you cannot craft it, instead you can buy it for 25 operation stars within the time limits of 103 days. It is limited in quantity, but since there are already a few hundred thousands of those, it is not in shortage, at least for the time being. By the way, make sure to read about trade-up contracts in our recent blog post to find out how players exchange their less valuable skins for a one skin of a higher grade.

Another unique feature of the Heat Treated Desert Eagle is its appearance, closely resembling the Case Hardened series. Its look is meant to resemble the process of case-hardening, when the body of a weapon is treated with fire in order to trigger a chemical reaction to harden the surface area, simultaneously changing the gun’s appearance. As you might have guessed it, this Desert Eagle skin has a plethora of different patterns that affect its price, with a few rare patterns being the most desirable. By the way, the other case-hardened skin was involved in the most expensive sale in CS2, you can read about it here.

How Many Patterns Has Desert Eagle Heat Treated - Tier List

There are three popular Heat Treated patterns that retain a lot of value:

  • Blue Gems

  • Purple Gems

  • Gold Gems

Aside from the pattern, the skins are also assigned with the float value. While the skin was obtainable through the operation pass, the chances of getting the Heat Treated Desert Eagle in a better quality were quite slim:

  • Field-Tested – 33%

  • Well-Worn – 24%

  • Battle-Scarred – 16%

All Top Desert Eagle Heat Treated Patterns

Let’s take a closer look at the three best Desert Eagle Heat Treated patterns.

Heat Treated Deagle Blue Gem

The absolute cinema and peak of the Heat Treated lineup is any Blue Gem skin, without a doubt. The skin can be considered a blue gem when at least 80% of the Deag’s body is covered in a bright blue hue (excluding the handle). The Blue Gem Heat Treated patterns are:

  •  490 (the best one), 148, 69, 704, 567, 723, 308

Heat Treated Deagle Purple Gem

Now these skins are very clean. If you happen to have a 60% purple Heat Treated Deagle, then we envy you a little bit. Some purple variations of the Heat Treated Desert Eagle look even better than the semi-blue ones. The purple gem patterns are the following:

  • 172, 599, 156, 293, 29, 944, 133, 216

Heat Treated Deagle Gold Gem

Gold is in the eye of the beholder. Well, while technically it is not exactly the most golden of them all 🤓, it is still a pretty cool skin to look at. These aren’t as valuable as the blue gems or the purple gems, but still have the higher overall value than many other regular patterns. The gold gems are:

  • 103, 182, 74, 37, 87, 325, 124, 144, 102, 79.

What is The Best and Rarest Deagle Heat Treated Pattern?

Currently, the best Heat Treated Deagle pattern has to be the Blue Gem. It can be sold for a solid price, and it might be even more expensive in the near future or in a few years. It is fairly silly to call this skin a ‘limited-edition’, as there are more than 350,000 out there of these already. However, the demand for this skin might rise in the future along with its price, especially in the case of the Blue Gems and thePurple Gems.
