G3SG1 | Digital Mesh (Minimal Wear)
The G3SG1 | Digital Mesh (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin in a custom red, white, and charcoal DDPAT camo. Minimal Wear keeps that digital pattern almost fully intact, with only the lightest handling marks.
Design
The finish is built on a custom DDPAT — a pixelated digital camo in red, white, and charcoal that fragments the rifle's shape into a dense grid of blocks. Community artist hexeth designed it, and it ships with a fitting line: "Disruptingly intricate."
G3SG1 | Digital Mesh (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
On a float scale of 0.00 to 0.80, Minimal Wear sits just above Factory New. The red, white, and charcoal blocks stay vivid here, with perhaps a hint of edge wear you'd have to hunt for. For most buyers it reads nearly identical to the top grade while costing a bit less.
G3SG1 | Digital Mesh Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It sits one level above the Consumer and Industrial grades among the standard weapon tiers — common enough to unbox, but a step up from the entry-level finishes.
G3SG1 | Digital Mesh Case and Collection
Belonging to The Operation Broken Fang Collection, this finish comes out of the Operation Broken Fang Case, which launched alongside Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. Mil-Spec is the case's most frequent tier at around 79.92% (a rate shared across the tier), and buyers mostly source copies on the market these days.
G3SG1 | Digital Mesh Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on this finish. The paint-seed number has no effect, so the DDPAT blocks sit the same way on every copy, with no seed or "blue gem" worth chasing. Wear and float are the only variables that set copies apart.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ G3SG1 | Digital Mesh, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely from the Operation Broken Fang Case and costs more than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. No Souvenir edition exists, since Souvenir weapons ship only from Major-tournament packages this finish never featured in.
G3SG1 | Digital Mesh Price
Minimal Wear sits one rung under Factory New yet looks almost the same, making it a sensible value grade. As a Mil-Spec G3SG1 it's affordable at every step of the ladder. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Digital Mesh look worn?
Hardly. A faint scratch might appear on an exposed edge, but the red, white, and charcoal blocks stay bright and well defined. In-game it passes for near-mint to the naked eye, which is why plenty of players pick this grade over paying the Factory New rate for the same effect.
Is Minimal Wear better value than Factory New?
For most buyers, yes. It comes in cheaper than Factory New but keeps nearly the same vivid DDPAT thanks to the light handling marks. Reach for Factory New only if you want the highest grade on the shelf; otherwise Minimal Wear gives you almost the same look for less.
Who designed the Digital Mesh?
It's a community design by the artist hexeth, chosen by Valve for The Operation Broken Fang Collection. The custom red, white, and charcoal DDPAT is the artist's own take on digital camo, right down to the in-game line "Disruptingly intricate," which nods to the pattern's dense, fragmented look.
