G3SG1 | Orange Kimono (Well-Worn)

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono (Well-Worn)

The G3SG1 | Orange Kimono (Well-Worn) is a Consumer Grade autosniper finish in orange with a geometric pattern, here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper route into the design, with wear the bright base still partly carries off.

Design

At its heart this is a warm orange coat over the G3SG1, patterned with a geometric hydrographic motif — a Valve-made finish that trades the rifle's plain default for real color. Its in-game line reads "Tradition is a powerful thing."

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

On the 0.00 to 0.80 scale, Well-Worn sits high, where scuffing and paint loss spread across the body and the orange begins to dull in patches. The geometric motif stays recognizable, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade. For players who care more about price than a flawless surface, it delivers the look for less.

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the white class at the bottom of the standard weapon tiers. It's the most common grade of skin, which helps keep the finish inexpensive at every wear.

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono Case and Collection

This skin comes from The Rising Sun Collection, introduced with Operation Bloodhound in May 2015. Since no weapon case is tied to the collection, supply flows through collection drops and the market rather than case openings.

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono Patterns

The finish uses a fixed design, so the orange base and geometric motif appear identically on each copy — there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. The only differences from one copy to another are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak edition was never produced for this finish. The kill-counter feature ships with weapon-case drops, and this skin didn't come from a case, so there's no version to log kills on. Nor is there a Souvenir copy — Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of one.

G3SG1 | Orange Kimono Price

Well-Worn sits near the low end of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way to run the orange design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get the finish into a loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn Orange Kimono look?

Fairly noticeable. Expect visible scuffing and some dulling of the orange across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The geometric pattern stays recognizable, so the skin still reads clearly as an Orange Kimono in-game despite the added wear.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if price is the priority. Field-Tested keeps the orange noticeably brighter for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to the roughest Battle-Scarred grade.

Why is the Orange Kimono so affordable?

It's a Consumer Grade finish, the most common class of skin, so supply is plentiful and prices stay low across all grades. That makes it an easy way to add bright color to the G3SG1 without a big outlay — Well-Worn in particular offers the look at one of the finish's lowest price points.
