G3SG1 | Polar Camo (Well-Worn)
The G3SG1 | Polar Camo (Well-Worn, WW) is a Consumer Grade autosniper finish in gray arctic camo, here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper way into the cold-weather look, with wear the muted palette still partly absorbs.
Design
At its core this is a gray arctic camo hydrographic over the G3SG1 — a Valve-made finish suited to winter loadouts. Its in-game line reads "Snow is cold; death is colder."
G3SG1 | Polar Camo (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
On the 0.06 to 0.80 scale, Well-Worn sits high, where scuffing and paint loss spread across the body and the camo starts to thin. The gray tones still hide some of the damage better than a bright finish would, but this is plainly a worn grade. For players who put price ahead of a flawless surface, it delivers the look for less.
G3SG1 | Polar Camo Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade, the white class at the bottom of the standard weapon tiers. Being the most common grade, it helps keep the finish inexpensive at every wear level.
G3SG1 | Polar Camo Case and Collection
This skin comes from The Train Collection, introduced in November 2013. Since the collection isn't attached to a weapon case, regular supply flows through the market and collection drops, and Souvenir copies come only from Major-tournament packages.
G3SG1 | Polar Camo Patterns
The finish uses a fixed design, so the gray camo appears identically on each copy — there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. The only differences between copies are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition was never made for this finish, because kill counters arrive through case drops and this skin didn't come from a case. There is a Souvenir version, first seen in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and later reissued across other Major souvenir packages, each from a different Major over the years.
G3SG1 | Polar Camo Price
Well-Worn sits near the low end of the ladder, below Field-Tested (FT) and above only Battle-Scarred (BS) — a budget route to the arctic look for players who won't pay the mid-grade rate. It's one of the cheaper ways to add the finish to a loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Polar Camo look?
Fairly noticeable. Expect visible scuffing and thinning of the camo across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The muted gray tones absorb some of it, so the finish stays recognizable in-game despite the added wear it shows.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Only if price leads your decision. Field-Tested keeps the camo looking tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn is the pick when you want the arctic design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred's rougher surface.
Why is Polar Camo so cheap?
It's a Consumer Grade finish, the most common class of skin, so supply is abundant and prices stay low across every grade. That makes it an easy, affordable way to give the G3SG1 a tactical winter look — Well-Worn in particular lands near the bottom of the finish's price range.
