The G3SG1 | Scavenger (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Restricted autosniper skin, its green salvaged build in the most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
Scavenger keeps it scrappy: a green base with salvaged street signs and a tomato can replacing parts of the G3SG1, a junkyard-built look full of improvised detail. It's a community design by DasDas and Des, and it ships with the taunt "Why run?"
G3SG1 | Scavenger (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly, with heavy scratching and paint loss across the body and the green base faded in places. This finish is capped at a float of about 0.65 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale, and the salvaged look stays legible even at its roughest.

Is the Battle-Scarred Scavenger still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and faded patches, the green base and salvaged panels keep the design readable at a glance in-game — and the grime arguably fits the junkyard theme. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the scrappy look the finish is known for.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred copy look completely destroyed?
