M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn)

The M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn) is a Covert rifle skin with a beastly creature painted in psychedelic blue and purple, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into one of the most striking M4A1-S finishes, with wear the busy artwork still partly masks.

Design

At its core the finish is a snarling beast in psychedelic color, built on blue and purple tones for a wild, fantastical feel unlike anything else on the M4A1-S. It's a community design from the artist frontaLOBE, and it carries an in-game line: "You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive - Rona Sabri, Rising Star."

M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

This finish covers the full 0.00–1.00 float scale, and Well-Worn sits toward the high end. At this grade there's clear scuffing and paint loss across the body and rails, though the dense psychedelic artwork keeps the beast recognizable through the damage. For players who care more about price than a flawless surface, it delivers the look for less.

M4A1-S | Hyper Beast Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier, ranked at the top of the standard weapon grades. Unboxing one is genuinely uncommon.

M4A1-S | Hyper Beast Case and Collection

Belonging to The Chroma 2 Collection, the Hyper Beast is unboxed from the Chroma 2 Case, which came out with the April 2015 update on April 15, 2015. As a group the Covert tier drops around 0.64% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so buyers pick up most copies on the market instead of from a case.

M4A1-S | Hyper Beast Patterns

Because the beast artwork sits the same way on every Hyper Beast, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Hyper Beast, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard Chroma 2 Case drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Chroma 2 Case has never featured as a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Hyper Beast Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the more affordable routes to a genuine Hyper Beast. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn Hyper Beast look?

Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The dense psychedelic artwork keeps the beast readable, so the skin still reads clearly in-game despite the damage.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if price is the priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Hyper Beast design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.

Does the Hyper Beast come with a StatTrak counter option?

Yes. A StatTrak™ edition drops from the same Chroma 2 Case and logs your confirmed kills on a built-in tracker. It's rarer and pricier than the standard skin, and the count is permanent — it stays on the weapon no matter how many times it's traded or sold.
