MAC-10 | Commuter (Well-Worn)
The MAC-10 | Commuter (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade SMG finish combining a plaid hydrographic print with a faux crocodile leather wrap, shown here with added surface handling. It's a cheaper route to this textured, utilitarian design.
Design
Faux crocodile leather panels sit alongside a plaid hydrographic pattern on this finish, leaning on material contrast rather than color to stand out. Valve designed it, and it comes with a flavor line from Elliott Kingsman, Mercenary: "They took the bait, let's move..."
MAC-10 | Commuter (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
This finish's float spans the entire 0.00–1.00 range, with Well-Worn sitting toward the heavier end. Expect more visible scuffing and dulled texture across the surface, though the rugged plaid-and-leather look absorbs it more gracefully than a smoother finish would. It's a noticeably rougher copy suited to price-focused buyers.
MAC-10 | Commuter Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light blue tier, one of the more common rarities among the standard weapon grades. Wear grade doesn't change this classification.
MAC-10 | Commuter Case and Collection
Commuter belongs to The Baggage Collection, which debuted with Operation Breakout in July 2014. Since no weapon case carries it, copies mostly come from trade-up contracts or direct market purchases.
MAC-10 | Commuter Patterns
No paint seed introduces variation on this finish — the plaid-and-leather layout is identical on every copy. Only wear and float distinguish individual copies, even at this heavier grade.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Only a regular finish exists for the Commuter. There's no StatTrak edition, as it was never issued through a case that includes one, and no Souvenir edition, since it has never appeared in a Major-tournament package.
MAC-10 | Commuter Price
Well-Worn sits near the lower end of the price ladder, below Field-Tested but above Battle-Scarred. It's a more budget-friendly way into a finish that otherwise sits at a premium price tier. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the rugged design hide wear well?
Reasonably well. The plaid pattern and leather texture already carry visual noise, so the extra scuffing at Well-Worn doesn't stand out as sharply as it would on a smoother, single-color finish.
Is Well-Worn a good budget pick for the Commuter?
Yes, if you want to spend less on a finish that otherwise sits at a premium price tier, Well-Worn trims the cost noticeably while keeping the design's core look intact.
How far into the float range does Well-Worn sit?
Well-Worn lands toward the heavier end of the finish's full 0.00–1.00 float range, short of the maximum Battle-Scarred reaches, which is enough to visibly dull the texture without fully wearing it away.
