MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum (Factory New)

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum (Factory New)

The MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum (Factory New) is a Restricted-grade shotgun skin painted to resemble iridescent bismuth crystals, shimmering in cyan and pink. Factory New is the top grade, showing that spectral sheen at its most vivid.

Design

Community designers Cimota and MultiH built the finish around a spectrum motif, custom painting the body to look like iridescent bismuth crystals — a technological, almost synthetic play of cyan and pink across the shotgun. It ships with the in-game line, "Why are the rarest things the most beautiful?"

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum (Factory New) Float and Wear

Factory New copies roll a float from 0.00 to 0.07, the lowest band this finish reaches. At this grade the iridescent surface sits at full saturation, the cyan-to-pink shift is crisp, and there's no scuffing to mute the glow. If you want the spectral look exactly as the artists intended, this is the grade to hunt.

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, ranked above Mil-Spec and below Classified among the standard weapon grades. It's an uncommon pull, a clear step up from the blue drops that fill most cases.

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection and unboxes from the Operation Riptide Case, which launched with Operation Riptide in September 2021. Across the case the Restricted tier drops at roughly sixteen percent (a rate shared by the tier's skins), so copies keep entering the market as long as the case is opened.

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum Patterns

The artwork is fixed — the paint seed doesn't shuffle it, so every copy carries the bismuth crystals the same way. There's no "best pattern" or blue-gem seed to chase here; wear and float are the only things that separate one from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version exists, minted by the Operation Riptide Case alongside the standard drop; it adds a confirmed-kill counter that never gets wiped, staying with the item through trades and sales. There's no Souvenir edition, since those come only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never handed out in one.

MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum Price

Factory New sits at the top of this finish's price ladder as the highest grade available — a premium spot within the MAG-7 lineup, though well short of the model's true grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth the premium over Minimal Wear?

If you care about the iridescence, yes. Factory New keeps the cyan-and-pink shimmer at peak saturation with no edge scuffing, which is the whole appeal of a spectral finish. Minimal Wear still looks strong for less, so pay up only when you want the surface as vivid as the skin gets.

Which gloves suit the BI83 Spectrum?

Its cyan-and-pink shimmer loves a cool, high-contrast loadout, so blue or teal gloves lock into the spectral palette, while a pink or magenta pair picks up the warmer half of the shift. Neutral black or gray wraps also work if you'd rather let the shotgun carry the color.

Does the BI83 Spectrum come in StatTrak?

Yes. A StatTrak edition drops from the same Operation Riptide Case and tracks your confirmed kills on a counter that never gets wiped, carrying across trades and sales. It's rarer and pricier than the standard version, so expect to pay more for the kill-tracking variant.
