Negev | Infrastructure (Battle-Scarred)
The Negev | Infrastructure (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec Negev skin at its most weathered, the schematic hydrographic of construction, HVAC, and wiring plans carrying heavy use. It's the most affordable entry into the blueprint design, trading surface condition for a lower price.
Design
At its core the finish is a building plan on a gun: the 51st floor's construction, HVAC, and wiring schematics printed across the Negev as a hydrographic, tied to the Vertigo map's construction theme. Valve made the design, and it carries the flavor line "All according to plan…"
Negev | Infrastructure (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.49 rather than the full 1.0, even its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale. You'll still see broad scratching and thinned paint across the body, but the damage stays a notch milder than a fully uncapped skin would show, and the schematic lines remain readable beneath it.
Negev | Infrastructure Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue, entry-level tier of the paid weapon grades and the most common in its collection. That said, the collection-based supply keeps circulating copies scarcer than an ordinary case skin of the same grade.
Negev | Infrastructure Case and Collection
The skin is drawn from The 2021 Vertigo Collection, introduced with Operation Riptide in September 2021, and it has no weapon case of its own. Regular copies come through collection drops and trade-ups; Souvenir copies come through Major souvenir packages. Mil-Spec is the most common tier in those packages, at roughly 79.92% (a rate the whole tier shares).
Negev | Infrastructure Patterns
The schematic hydrographic is applied the same to every unit, so the paint seed has no effect on the look and there's no blue-gem or lucky-seed variant to pursue. As with the rest of the grades, wear and float are the only meaningful differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak copy exists, since StatTrak counters are minted by weapon cases and Infrastructure was handed out through a collection and its Major souvenir packages, never a case. The finish comes in both a regular and a Souvenir form; the Souvenir debuted at the Stockholm 2021 Vertigo Souvenir Package and later Major packages distributed it too.
Negev | Infrastructure Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish, the entry-level route to the blueprint for players who value the design over a clean surface — though even here the skin stays premium for a Negev thanks to limited, collection-only supply. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred grade still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the schematic line work keeps the blueprint readable at normal in-game distance. Battle-Scarred is about accepting an obviously worn surface for a lower price, not losing the look — the Negev still reads clearly as Infrastructure.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred copy look completely destroyed?
Because the finish caps at a float of 0.49 rather than the full 1.0, its worst copies never hit the extreme end of the wear scale. The result is a Battle-Scarred grade that's genuinely worn but visibly milder than an uncapped skin would look under the same label.
How is Infrastructure distributed?
It belongs to The 2021 Vertigo Collection, which has no weapon case. Regular copies enter circulation through collection drops and trade-up contracts, while Souvenir copies come from Major souvenir packages — first Stockholm 2021 and later Majors. That collection-only supply is why the finish carries premium pricing for a Mil-Spec Negev.
