Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Field-Tested)
The Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade shotgun skin wearing its mosaic hydrographic. Field-Tested is the middle grade — a touch of honest wear, a friendlier price, and the tiled pattern still reading clearly.
Design
At its core the look is a mosaic hydrographic, a tessellated tile pattern the game frames as a memento from Ali, giving the Sawed-Off a decorative and low-key identity. It's a Valve-made finish, and it's paired with the in-game line: "Patience is a virtue."
Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
On the 0.06–0.80 float scale, Field-Tested sits in the middle band. Here the finish picks up honest scuffing on the edges and high points, but the mosaic tiles stay easy to make out and remain the focus of the design. This is the grade most players land on for the best balance of looks and cost.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, one of the lower ranks in the standard weapon grades. Despite that humble tier, Mosaico's limited supply pushes its value well beyond what the grade usually commands.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Alpha Collection, which arrived with Operation Bravo in 2013. It never came from a case — the collection was handed out via in-game drops, so surviving copies are scarce and the market is where nearly all of them change hands today.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Patterns
This is a fixed-design finish: the mosaic hydrographic appears the same way on every copy, meaning there's no seed to roll and no "blue gem" variant to track down. Only wear and float distinguish one from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak version of this finish was produced. StatTrak comes from cases, and since Mosaico was a collection drop rather than a case item, there are no StatTrak copies. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist either, because Souvenir gear only ever comes from Major-tournament packages, and this skin was never in one.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Price
Field-Tested lands in the mid-range of this skin's ladder, below the two top grades but above the more worn conditions. Even so, the finish's scarcity keeps every grade in high-end, grail-tier territory for a Sawed-Off. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested copy look?
Moderately. Expect scuffing along the edges and raised areas, more than the higher grades but far from heavy battering. The mosaic tiles stay legible throughout, so the design reads clearly in-game — you're mainly trading a bit of surface polish for a lower price on an already-scarce finish.
Is Field-Tested the best value on Mosaico?
It can be. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the mosaic readable, so it's a more accessible way into a grail-tier skin. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still, but on a finish this scarce even the lower grades hold strong prices.
What does the flavor text on Mosaico mean?
The in-game line reads "Patience is a virtue," a quiet nod to the finish's understated, decorative mosaic style. Flavor text is purely cosmetic — it appears on the item's inspect screen and has no effect on how the shotgun performs. On Mosaico it suits the calm, tiled look of the design.
