Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Well-Worn)
The Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade shotgun finish with its mosaic hydrographic, here in a more weathered state. It's a more affordable route into a scarce design, with wear that shows but doesn't erase the tiles.
Design
The finish centers on a mosaic hydrographic — a tessellated, tile-like pattern the game describes as a memento from Ali — that hands the Sawed-Off a decorative, understated identity. It's a Valve-made design, and it carries the in-game line: "Patience is a virtue."
Sawed-Off | Mosaico (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Along the 0.06–0.80 float range, Well-Worn sits in the band just below the top-worn grade. At this level the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body, with the tiles dulling in places, though the mosaic stays recognizable. Because the finish is capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, even this grade stops short of the harshest wear — a point that carries over to Battle-Scarred as well.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue grade near the bottom of the standard weapon tiers. The tier is ordinary, but Mosaico's scarcity gives this skin far more value than its grade would normally suggest.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Case and Collection
Belonging to The Alpha Collection, this skin traces back to Operation Bravo in 2013. It wasn't unboxed from a case — the collection was earned through in-game drops, so old copies are hard to find now and nearly all trading happens on the market rather than through the drop pool.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Patterns
The finish carries no random pattern roll — the mosaic hydrographic is applied the same way to every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" seed to seek out. What separates copies is simply their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak Mosaico. StatTrak versions are minted inside cases, and this finish came as a collection drop rather than from a case, so none were produced. There's no Souvenir variant either, because Souvenir weapons are made solely for Major-tournament packages and this skin was never offered through one.
Sawed-Off | Mosaico Price
Well-Worn sits toward the lower end of this skin's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred. Even so, on a finish this scarce it stays high-end for a Sawed-Off rather than a true budget buy. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn copy look?
Noticeably. You'll see visible scratches and paint thinning across the body, and the tiles dull in spots — heavier than Field-Tested but held back by the finish's 0.80 float cap, so it never reaches the harshest wear. The mosaic stays identifiable, so it still reads as Mosaico in-game.
Is Well-Worn a cheaper way into Mosaico?
Relatively, yes. It costs less than the higher grades, so it's a more affordable route into a scarce, grail-tier finish. But because supply is so limited, even Well-Worn copies command strong prices — this is not a finish where the lower grades turn genuinely cheap.
Why doesn't Well-Worn Mosaico look completely battered?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its worn grades never reach the extreme end of the wear scale. That cap keeps Well-Worn — and even Battle-Scarred — milder than the roughest copies of an uncapped skin, so the mosaic detail stays more legible than you might expect.
