USP-S | Target Acquired (Battle-Scarred)

The USP-S | Target Acquired (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified pistol skin with a vibrant pink finish, a map pattern, and a bird's-eye HUD overlay, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a coveted USP-S design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Valve kept the look bold and direct: a pink base carrying a stylized map graphic beneath a bird's-eye HUD overlay, a tactical-recon theme that leans on color over intricate detail. A fitting in-game line rides along: "Target acquired."

USP-S | Target Acquired (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred is the top of the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range — and that 0.50 cap matters. Because the finish never rolls past the halfway mark of the wear scale, its worst grade is milder than a full-range skin's, so the damage, though heavy, stops short of the extreme. Scratching and paint loss spread across the slide, but the pink base and HUD overlay keep the design readable at its roughest.

USP-S | Target Acquired Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.

USP-S | Target Acquired Case and Collection

This skin sits in The Control Collection, released together with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. The Classified tier drops about 3.2% of the time (that rate is shared across the tier's skins), and since the operation is finished, supply stays fixed — most copies reach players through the market rather than fresh drops.

USP-S | Target Acquired Patterns

This finish has no random pattern roll — the pink base, map graphic, and HUD overlay appear the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The only difference between copies is wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin. StatTrak weapons are seeded into cases, and this finish comes from an operation collection instead, so a kill-counter variant was never made. Nor is there a Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and The Control Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

USP-S | Target Acquired Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run this design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Even so, it belongs to a high-end, grail-tier lineup, so it's still a meaningful pickup. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred version still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the loud pink base and bold HUD overlay keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on the finish, not losing the look entirely.

Why doesn't it look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.50 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear the scale allows. The damage is real but stops halfway, and the vivid pink base helps the design stay legible where a duller skin might look far rougher.

Which gloves go with Target Acquired?

Its bright pink base calls for a color-matched build, so pink or magenta gloves lock the loadout together into one vivid theme. If you'd rather rein in the brightness, neutral gray or black wraps keep the pistol as the standout piece without any clash.
